22 ounce bottle into signature globe glass; no bottle dating, but it was from the 2012 release. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a nice 2 finger fluffy of white head with incredible retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings to the glass, with a nice amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange zest, pineapple, coriander, pepper, floral, grass, straw, earth, and herbal. Fantastic aromas with nice complexity and balance; there is a lot of brett presence. Taste of lemon, orange zest, pineapple, coriander, bread, toast, floral, grass, straw, earth, pepper, and herbal. Light earthy tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, pineapple, coriander, bread, toast, floral, straw, grass, earth, and herbal on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of flavors; nice brett flavor complexity; zero cloying flavors on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and lightly chalky mouthfeel that is very nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is highly excellent Biere De Garde! Great balance and complexity of flavors, with nice brett complexity; very smooth and easy to drink. I enjoyed this one a lot; one of the better Biere De Gardes I have had. SuIIy (1984) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - NOV 24, 2012
Bomber. Pours a golden color with a white foamy head. Nose is farmhouse with straw and grass notes. Palate is slick and kind of oily. Flavors of light barnyard with grassy hops and dry straw grain notes.

This beer pours a hazy gold with a billowing, sticky head of white foam. Perfumed Belgian yeast notes rise from the glass. Dried grasses, citrus, some Brett, light florals. The spice in the nose hides just behind mild, toasted malts. The flavor is full of muted dry grasses, forage, light citruses, bright but subtle malts. The Brett takes a back seat and lets the quieter flavors do the driving, here. No real sourness lurking about. A good, if subdued, biere de garde that would serve as a great intro to the style for fans of reserved Belgians. nick76 (4403) - Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 1, 2012
The aroma is spicy with urinal cake, spices, and overripe fruit. The appearance is light amber with a big head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall this is not very good to me.

This beer reminds me of fancy soap. the spies are very potent with lots of character. the real flaws are the malts that makes the beer taste what it is. still worth a try though. unclemike (3197) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours a bright orange color with a big fluffy head but not much lacing. The aroma is earthy and fruit/ citrus with sweet brown sugar and bread notes. Very balanced yeasty flavors of orange and bread dough. Very nice beer milewide (2332) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 18, 2012
