COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Biere De Mars is New Belgium’s exploration of the classic French and Belgian brews celebrating the half-winter, half-spring month of March. Our bottle-conditioned version, however, goes where no BIERE DE MARS has gone before. After gazing at its cloudy, yet glowing orange hue, prepare yourself for a celestial collaboration of oats, wheat, barley malt and lemon verbena, all of which is set into orbit by unidentified flying yeast strains.

Draft. A dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with an odd malt note combined with caramel, and yeast. Maybe it is the oats that makes it a bit odd for me.

On tap at Apex, pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of doughy malt - not much on the nose really. Flavour of dry bread, wheat and maybe some yeast - similarly bland flavour profile. Pointless beer to me, yet dry and refreshing. Decent enough I suppose.
