22 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear liquid caramel color with a thin off white film. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, Belgian candy, dates, caramel, a hint of cherry and some alcohol. The flavor has some additional roast that comes from the coffee. Somewhat dry on the finish. Pours clear orange/amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits, spices and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, fruits, caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, 22oz. A hazy, dark amber beer with a small, dense, dark beige head. A lightly unclear, dark amber beer with a small, off-white head. Some toffee-like aromas, with berries and dried fruits and a touch of oxidation. Oxidized caramel and toffee notes in the flavor, not much bitterness going on. Full body, pleasant carbonation. If it wasn’t for the oxidation, it’d be a fine brew. Really fine. 130811 Geokkjer (7643) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 11, 2013

22 ounce bottle, label says best enjoyed by August 2014. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a burnt orange/brown color with about a half inch light tan head. The head sticks around for a long time, and there’s also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, it smells mostly like cherries and dates (really just a lot of dark fruit in general), along with pears, cloves, and some tobacco. Taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes like dark fruit (cherries, dates, plums), dark bread, caramel, candy sugar, pears, and peppery spice. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it’s coating and creamy with a good amount of soft carbonation. I think it’s a good overall brew, I liked it. $6.99 a bottle, definitely worth trying at that price.

at first this was yeasty and hot, needed to let it sit for a few. then the cherry essence comes out, along with some overripe fruit notes. not really getting any coffee from it. regardless, kinda interesting but probably wouldnt buy again. Bomber from State Line. Pours very turbid and thick ruby-brownish. Nose is cherry, fig, coffee, tannins, funky yeasty notes. Tastes tart fruity, with a big cherry and fig flavor, some yeasty funk, and some finishing hops. Decent, but more of a novelty that a great Quad. Gachupines (1252) - USA - AUG 2, 2013
Dark amber, almost reddish with a thick off white head. Aroma is sour cherries with a hint of coffee and a little earthiness from the yeast. Flavor is a big wallop of fruit with an aftertaste of bitter coffee. Some nice funky yeast underneath it all. A little funkier than it needs to be.

From a bomber, good tan head on a brown very hazy body. Smells sweet with raisins and dates. Some yeasty floral notes. Lighter body on this one, initially it hits the palate hard with a good amount of carbonation, moving to a very sweet middle, with tons or dried, fruit, can really taste the dates, just a hint of dryness and a bit of a lingering alcohol One2remeber (247) - Bucktown, Ohio, USA - AUG 1, 2013
Bottle. BB 08/2014.
Lively light beige head, large bubbles, frothy, adequate retention. Deep, dark mahogany body, amber hue.
Belgian candy sugar, chewy figs, sherry tartness, brown sugar.
Big banana yeast flavors, mellow, chewy, warming, sweet fresh cherries on the backend and linger. Mild alcohol burn on back but tied in with cherry flavor it is reminiscent of cough drops.
Base of a beer is a great interpretation of an American-style Quad. The adjuncts are not unpleasant, but do not compliment the malt bill. Yeast flavors are my favorite characteristic.
