UPDATED: JUN 15, 2012 22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden with a medium, foamy off-white head - medium retention. Aroma of grapefruity hops, toasted hazelnuts, with a very toffee malt backbone. Flavour of floral and citrusy hops, some light peach-like fruit, bitter grapefruit notes, and biscuity, caramel malt backing. Not sure if I would guess this was fresh hopped, maybe somewhere in between fresh and dry. Nevertheless, a well-made, well-balanced, flavourful IPA. Excellent. bhensonb (15195) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 23, 2011
Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe in Davis, CA. Pours orange tinged gold with a creamy off-white head. The nose is so full of so many different hops. Floral is a fair description, but inadequate. Full bodied. Flavor is floral/perfume, citrus, and something like earthy/resin. The hop load is fantastic. Mild burn and lots and lots of sensory impingments. Maybe some sort of unusual fruit towards the finish. This is just great ale. Ratman197 (14838) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - NOV 6, 2011

Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, grapefruit, tropical fruit, tangerine, pine and light grassiness with a crisp dry moderatly bitter lingering fruity finish.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours a clear copper with a small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a floral hop and pine. Medoum mouthfeel with a crisp hop and pine with a sweet hop finish. A very good IPA from New Belgium. Tmoney99 (14490) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 9, 2011
Draft sample. Poured a clear copper color with an average creamy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus and earthy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
