Oh my God. It’s not only a reaction for drinking one of Dieu De Ciel’s beers, but a figurative translation of the Montreal brewery’s name. Just ask our brewmaster, he’s in heaven when drinking this collaborative tripel, inspired by Dieu De Ciel’s love of hibiscus and Belgians love of the obscure, hence our addition of tart feijoa fruit. Cheers!

Pours golden with a fluffy off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is really fruit, almost wine-like. Taste is sweet and sourish, not cloying. Really fruity/juicy too, with something I would associate with apricots or peaches. Carbonation level was OK, enhancing drinkability. Not bad at all!

extra @ cascade + upright tasting sessions - ’coz we’re porks. pours clear golden with a ncie white head, some retention/lacing. pale pils, saizohn estery notes, light tartness - little fruits and tropicalness, very fruity and a tad phenolic, shy bretts. more on the bsa side as for maltiness. bright carbonation, light body - oily, floral-grassy and lightly tart finish. nice collab!

Bottle (22 oz). Shared by mathieuc, thanks! Clear golden with a medium off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is yeasty and fruity with malt and pinot grigio reminiscence. Taste is slightly sweet and about the same as aroma. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Good fruity Tripel.

From bottle. A Tripel like none other. Not quite a sour, but tart enough to be noticed. I'll have another! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 ml bottle shared with Tom and chums around bonfire. Hence the almost complete unreadability of my tasting notes. Pours a sediment-filled amber with a resilient white head. Aroma is soap, fruit, yeast. Flavor is fruit, white wine, , tropical fruit, oranges, flower. Finish is white wine, brett yeast?, oldish, tart. Medium body, average mouthfeel. Very positively surprised, after the disappointment that was their quadrupel.

22oz bottle. Aroma of yeast, fruit and malts. Similar taste, but very fruity and has an overt tart flavor to it. Very tasty, doesn’t taste balanced but is enjoyable. Would get again! 9% alcohol.

Floral aroma. Crisp, tart, nicely balanced. Little body and light mouthfeel, low carbonation. Does not taste very alcoholic. Could be good in mixed drinks. Reminds me of a sauvignon blanc.

Pours amber with nice fading head. Aroma is light spices, bready, and floral. Taste is light sweet and spices with a tart fruit finish, I really liked this.
