Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with rather thick white head. Nose is a tad sour with some citrus in there and smells very much like a farmhouse ale with a hint of honey. Taste is just a tad sour with some slight spiciness in there. Interesting... Diduncan (5) - Colorado, USA - MAR 3, 2013 does not count
On draft at the brewery. Reddish copper but clear with fine white lacing. Aroma is light and fruity with hints of the high ABV. Mouthfeel is tart and boozy with a fairly long lived tangy finish. Surprisingly drinkable trippel.

Golden-orange in color with white bubbles. Honey lemon aroma. Citrussy lemony (lightly tart) orange flavors. Deceptively high alcohol content. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 2, 2013
The nose is pure fermenting home-made white wine yeast. The flavour is lightly sour, dry and very pungent with fruit. More drinkable than the other Lips of Faith released at this time (Cascara Quad) but still unsettling. burgy (460) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - MAR 2, 2013
Feijoa - instant sour slap to the face. Infected? Smells of pee and sour berries. Not digging this at all. Poured this shit out.

To be honest, this is one of the worst-smelling beers I’ve ever had. And while this actually tastes a bit like feijoa, which is a fairly tasty Colombian fruit, it doesn’t work at all, for me or my Colombian wife. The sourness is there but that’s about all. First feijoa beer and I’m going to say that I’ll be alright if it’s my last. A huge disappointment. AxlLives (288) - Maryland, USA - MAR 2, 2013
22 oz bottle - pours clear honey-orange with large, fluffy white head, good lacing. Big fragrant nose of tart cherries, peaches, stone fruit, touch of soap and cereal grain. Floral. Taste is slightly tart, medium bodied, nice tropica fruit all over and slight pepper on the finish. Cherries, peaches, yeah. Lemon peel. Good deal. Clear bright golden pour with ring of white head. Extremely floral nose like lilacs, rose hips, and peach blossoms. Semi light tart note of persimon or kumquat and again, lots of floral notes. Kinda like pear juice and lemograss and passionfruit. Very unique. And even though i disliked it at first, it really grew on me. nuplastikk (6456) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 28, 2013
22oz bomber courtesy of Anndiesel. Filtered orange-tan. Interesting mix of big boozy golden malt and mildly funky tropical fruit. Creamy, the filtration really lets the feijoa shine. Very unique, the tropical tones are very pleasant, and while the beer is big, it isn’t overwhelmign on the palate. A pretty cool offering from NG+DDC. bhensonb (15761) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Bomber from Whole Foods in Davis, CA. Pours clear orange/copper. Slight, transient white head. Aroma is rather fruity - hibiscus seems discernible. Med body. Flavor is tart fruit, with some Belgian yeast/spice aspects. Getting some banana ester as all the main stuff flows away. Really quite odd. It has a pineapple acidity. And some berry. Hibiscus seems to have gotten lost. Finishes drier than the aroma suggested, and still acidic/tart.
