COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oh my God. It’s not only a reaction for drinking one of Dieu De Ciel’s beers, but a figurative translation of the Montreal brewery’s name. Just ask our brewmaster, he’s in heaven when drinking this collaborative tripel, inspired by Dieu De Ciel’s love of hibiscus and Belgians love of the obscure, hence our addition of tart feijoa fruit. Cheers!

Bottle. My wife and I were excited to try this-- we used to eat fresh feijoa fruit in New Zealand. This play as a very solid, estery triple with an added juiciness and a tart kick at the end. Extremely drinkable!

First release, in case there is another. Foremost, I rarely, if ever, comment on the packaging - the graphic design on this bottle is really appealing. Pretty with white clouds and baby blue accented urban outline with ethereal rays pulling me in. Pours apricot with etched surface whites and brilliant clarity. Smells of hibiscus, peppercorn, manure, some sweet banana and some hints of plastic. Flavor is tart, foreign, some bitter, some alcohol, some pear juice and lemons with a hint of herbal tea and a little lotion. Medium bodied with moderate carb and a off wet finish. This is an odd beer, and takes a while to warm up to, but is worth a spin, and maybe worth a revisit.

Poured into a tulip glass. Small white head. Nice lacing. Wonderful funky citrus aroma. Has some tartness that helps to open the beer up. Almost a passion fruit flavor. As it warms up there is more body and complexity. Great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the Livermore Saloon. It pours orange with a white head. The aroma is huge tropical fruit juice…mango, lime, orange and pineapple. The flavor is pretty much the same with big pineapple, mango, orange sweetness. Full bodied and only hints of bready, spicy yeast character in the finish. Good beer if you like fruit juices. I enjoyed it.

On tap at Stubbys MKE beer week 2013. Golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty with mild citrus and floral notes. Taste if farmhouse meets wine bottle with yeast, tannins and some malt.

Bottled sample from Happy Harrys in Grand Forks. Yellow colour. Tart tasting up front. Somewhat bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

Poured into a tulip glass and had a lot of white bubbly head and had great lacing as I drank the beer. Color was like that of toasted wheat grain. Smell was mostly of tart yeast, and tangy citrus. Taste was interesting; like a Belgian triple mixed with a Berliner weisse. Medium body and highly carbonated. My first of the Lips of Faith series, and I was looking forward to this due to the Dieu du Ciel collab. Not particularly great.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a thin, white head. Flowery aroma with a hint of light berries. Dry taste with some berries and malt. Light tart. Slight sense of the alcohol, Nice little Belgian brew.
