COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oh my God. It’s not only a reaction for drinking one of Dieu De Ciel’s beers, but a figurative translation of the Montreal brewery’s name. Just ask our brewmaster, he’s in heaven when drinking this collaborative tripel, inspired by Dieu De Ciel’s love of hibiscus and Belgians love of the obscure, hence our addition of tart feijoa fruit. Cheers!

A hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, fruity caramel malt with light fruit acidity, chalky notes, lightly musty. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with fruity acidity, raspy peels, feijoa skins, not bad.

Brewvival Trip Beer 69. Draft at Taps, Summerville, SC, courtesy of Travlr. Thanks! Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized frothy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toffee, syrupy fruits, herbal notes. The taste is tart fruits, bread, tannins. Medium bodied, tart. Nice.

Very much a ruit beer more than a tripel. It is a GORGEOUS color. Flavor is tart and very vinous, the tripel flavor comes form a nice malt bill and belgian yeast.

Bottle @ home. Pours clear dark orange with a small, bubbly white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is tart fruit with biscuit malt and spicy hops. Flavor is sweet malt, wine and grape tartness, flowers, faint hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and light carbonation.

Dogbrick (13789) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 5, 2014
Pours from a pretty bottle a slightly cloudy peach/orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky fruits and spices. Medium-bodied with flavors of tart bitter fruit, peppercorns and yeast. The finish is peppery with a tart fruity aftertaste. Decent overall, if nothing else I learned I don’t care for feijoa fruit.

Bottle shared by John on Sunday morning after TAP-NY, in his hotel room. While Ed did not have on any pants. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Soft banana, toffee and some gentle floral aromas. Spicy and tangy. Tastes a bit like the flavor that occurs when you drink orange juice after brushing your teeth. Tart and tangy. Warming alcohol on the finish. Very interesting.

"Awesome aroma, like a fruity white wine, with notes of hibiscus, pineapple, soft honeysuckle. Taste is almost as good, with hints of yeast as well, and well hidden alcohol. Really liked this one."

Unfiltered orange colour. Lots of lace. Tart from finish. Neutral aroma. Lots of apricot orange taste.
