Pour from a bottle at New Belgium. Weird how all other Lips of Faith were on tap except the collaborations with DDC and Vivant. Anyway, this one pours a cloudy golden color with a small but lasting white head. Citrus and tropical fruits, caramel and pale malts, mild spice, sugar, and a good dose of herbs. Definitely a hoppy tripel. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation. I couldn’t bring myself to go 8 in the aroma or flavor, but there’s an x-factor to this one I couldn’t put my finger on and really liked. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 8, 2013
Pour out of 22 oz bottle, clear red pour with fizzy but fluffy off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, tart tropical fruits with pineapple, lychee, star fruits, hints of mango in there, going right into floral hibiscus, slight hints of a metallic note in there but not bad, some biscuity bread notes with a touch of caramel. Taste is a mix of sweet biscuit bread up front going right into tart pineapple, lychee and star fruits, hints of mango, slight passionfruit notes, hints of slight spice, no metallic notes, finishing fairly sweet, slightly bitter, tart notes follow as well. Based on the earlier reviews, this must have needed a bit to sort itself out, tasting pretty solid at the moment, though the price tag was harsh for the quality. bb (9697) - Alamo, California, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Bottle. Amber beer with a dark cream head. Earthy and fruity aroma with yeast. Tart fruit flavor with hibiscus and yeast. Medium bodied. Tart fruit lingers with yeast and light malt. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 11, 2013
22oz bottle, thanks to tmoney99 for sharing. Clear yellow orange color. Thin white head. Dots of lace. Lightly citrusy, kind of limey aroma. Light banana. More acidic than I’m used to from tripels. Medium to bigger body, but it doesn’t feel very full. Lighter carbonation. More dry in the finish. Interesting, different tripel, but it seems a little flawed. czar (9338) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 14, 2013
extra @ cascade + upright tasting sessions - ’coz we’re porks. pours clear golden with a ncie white head, some retention/lacing. pale pils, saizohn estery notes, light tartness - little fruits and tropicalness, very fruity and a tad phenolic, shy bretts. more on the bsa side as for maltiness. bright carbonation, light body - oily, floral-grassy and lightly tart finish. nice collab!

Bomber to snifter (thanks Tmoney99). Looks solid; a completely transparent burnt-orange with off-white lacing. Smells of dough and Belgian yeast with notes of what I can only assume to be feijoa and a sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a subpar citrus zest mouthfeel. Not my thing. drfabulous (8476) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - AUG 23, 2013
22 ounce bottle from Brusin Ales. Very sweet. Hibiscus and an agave nectar taste upfront and throughout. Not sure what to make of that intense sweetness. Must be the feijoa. SudsMcDuff (8468) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - APR 22, 2013
