22oz Bomber ,
Strong Coffee nose, Thin Lacing that remains a tan color. Chocolate flavor seems to linger on the palate a little more than the coffee, but still notes of a nice black coffee flavor. Overall a solid beer, nice to drink with breakfast or as a dessert beer. High in alcohol but not boozy, very well balanced. rxeight (3080) - Illinois, USA - JAN 22, 2013
10 oz draft. Black pour great looking tan head. Aroma of coffee and cocoa. Taste is like hersheys syrup. Chocolate but lighter thqn typical for most. Cocoa clearly added not from malts. Sort of a creamy thick. Im not a NB fan and i really didn’t want to like it but i enjoyed this beer. Probably the best effort they have put forward. Have this one soon i cant imagine this will taste better with age. bnielsen13 (264) - Richfield, Minnesota, USA - JAN 22, 2013
Pours dark brown almost black, with a dark tan head. Strong coffee aroma with a hint of chocolate and toffee. Strong coffee flavor, with chocolate, and vanilla undertones. You don’t notice the alcohol at all. fattybladdy (628) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Pour from a 22oz. Dark black with a tall foamy tan head, pretty high carbonation. Scent is strong of coffee, doesn’t get much better than that. Taste is primarily coffee with some sweet chocolate, pretty simple but quite tasty. DesertDevil (699) - Arizona, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Bottle. Dark black pour with a thick, light tan head and thin lacing. Dark-roast coffee with chocolate notes for the nose. Big, bitter coffee forward along with dark chocolate and a hint of cinnamon. Lighter texture than I expected but still within style. A very drinkable coffee stout.

Its just a really dark beer with a lot of coffee aroma and a ton of coffee taste. I almost forget its beer if it wasn’t for the name. blomster (289) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 18, 2013
Bottle. Pours black, big brown head with large bubbles. Aroma is very coffee forward with backing chocolate. Taste of bitter coffee, chocolate, toffee, roasted malts, vanilla. Tasty and quite a light impy. Dogbrick (13006) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 17, 2013
On draught at Crystal Beer Parlor in Savannah. Black pour with a bit of brown around the edges, and a medium dark beige head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Coffee aroma backed up by malt and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted coffee, chocolate malt and a bit of caramel. The finish is coffee up front with a burnt malt aftertaste. Above average overall. SudsMcDuff (8428) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JAN 16, 2013
deep brown black .. cat on my lap .. foam doing its work .. light mouth, light burp .. deep coffee, and some tar .. sweet roast, mouth seems on par .. not what i was thinking it was going to be
.. . . i often feel sad, like when i watch the news or when i realize i buried my dog alive when i was 6- never have quite come to terms with that. Berbatov (30) - Texas, USA - JAN 16, 2013
deep brown and good head, massive lacing. chocolate and espresso. the alcohol is well presented. great beer but maybe a bit lacking in the mouthfeel.
