Nb coffe chocolate stout 12/23/12 Notes (Draft, Hamilton’s. Solid fragrant coffee aroma, bit rounder, mocha in middle. Finishes quite mild. Starts strong, ends a bit fun of mill for the style. Tasty flavor. FunkyBrewster (1518) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Bottle. Pours nearly black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is roasty malt, bittersweet chocolate and mocha coffee. Flavor starts with the same bittersweet chocolate note, smooth and creamy before the mocha character comes in. Fairly sweet as the chocolate really pops, but the coffee is nice in it as well, definitely a dessert type beer, nicely done though travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Bottle. The look is dark in color, black color, lacing tan head. The smell is coffee, roasty, nice, malt, dark chocolate, good complexity. The taste is roasty, malts, coffee, chocolate, rich, and ok. Marheb (5907) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 24, 2013

Pours pitch black with a white head. Smells like coffee & hints of chocolate. Malt & chocolate & coffee balance well - not too roasty.

Black with tan head. Really pleasant and strong free coffee grind aroma. Sweet and malty like a Hershey’s Kiss and a strong but subtle roasted Turkish coffee and marshmellow flavor.

Pours a deep dark opaque brown with a light tan head. Aroma is rich coffee with cream. Taste is a nice blend of dark roasted malt with some sweetness, coffee, dark chocolate and raisins. What bitterness there is seems derived from the burnt malt rather than any hops of note. alcohol well hidden, except for the characteristic warmth after the swallow. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Bottle: Nearly black, thin to moderate light beige head, decent lacing. Black coffee and somewhat of a german chocolate cake like aroma. Similar tongue, milk and sugar, not so much cake like. Backside has minor black coffee bitterness. Moderate body and mouthfeel. Balanced sweetened black coffee finish. Not bad, not great, decent example. Wished it had a bit more body, and perhaps not as sweet.   Pale roastiness from start to finsih.
