22oz bottle $5.99. Standard stout appearance, black, good head. This has a very nice aroma of coffee to it but almost no chocolate, I wonder what type of beans they used? Flavor was more coffee, a hint of chocolate, well done. This isn’t going to beat anything like KBS but it is a very good value. Nice job New Belgium.

Aroma is pretty great. The coffee brings a lot to the table here. The expected bitterness is leased by the potential bitterness of coffee. A very mellow beverage for 9% juiceisloose (1492) - Windermere, Florida, USA - JAN 31, 2016
22 oz bomber. Pours nearly black in color and mostly opaque and topped by a small, smooth layer of tan colored foam that settles slowly into a thin film. Nice streaks of lace coat the glass. The aroma shows notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted coffee, dark and toasted caramel malts, and some earthy bitterness. The flavor follows with the fresh roasted coffee and dark chocolate right up front along with notes of cocoa, toasted caramel, and earthy bitterness on the back end. The chocolate and dark malts help provide sweetness and balance to all the roasty flavors. Medium bodied, round, and slick on the palette, with average carbonation that leads to a lengthy, roasty and cocoa finish. Tasty and well balanced stout. Good stuff. rumproasts (5422) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JAN 16, 2016
bottle. Thick black with minimal head. Rich dark chocolate malt base. Coffee is understated compared to the chocolate. Flavors meld into a smooth composite. Minimal booziness. Really well done.

Taste: chocolate malt, roasted coffee, rich and molasses notes.
Black and opaque. Cocoa and coffee nose.
Full body with thick tan head. Smokey and would pair well with dessert. rdixon77 (2874) - Georgia, USA - APR 1, 2015
Old rating. Good solid choco-coffee stout, espresso, mocha, caramel, vanilla, cream. Yum.

Bottle... Pours murky and dark brown with a small, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. The aroma is a mingling of vanilla and mocha – dark chocolate and Cubano espresso. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and airy carbonation. The flavor is very deeply roasted, offering a nice ration of vanilla, followed by acute, burnt, tannic bitterness. Lengthy, bitter finish. Bottle. Pours jet black with a creamy tan head that left great lacing. Aroma of roasted coffee and chocolate. Flavor of sweet chocolate, dark roasted coffee, espresso, and some subtle caramel. Creamy texture, medium/full body, roasty dry finish. Namespayne (64) - - DEC 12, 2014
10oz snifter draft at Hop Stop. Smells too thick of hipsters in here to get a good sniff. Taste is chocolate and roasted coffee beans, plenty malty, not too hoppy. Ohhh yeaaa

Bottle: Thanks ig88b: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Brown head, black beer.
Aroma of coffee, some (coffee and malt) roast, coffee beans, some olives, some gass, hints of cacoa, lacto and red fruit.
Flavours of coffee, roast, bitters, some chocolate, some olives, coffee beans, malts, malt roast and mocha.
Aftertaste is bitter, roast, coffee, coffee beans and some dark chocolate.
Low carbo, light creamy spiced mouthfeel, more than medium bodied and a light dry, spiced, bitter texture.
Decent beer, I expected it to be a bit bigger and bolder, but nonetheless, a decent beer
