COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We get a kick out of collaborating. Harvesting the creativity of Kim Jordan of New Belgium and Dick Cantwell of Elysian produced this ruby-hued, slightly sour, pumpkin, cranberry ale. It’s a treat that does the trick.

Bottled at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s. Hazy golden, small head. Tart, yeasty cranberry aroma. Dry with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Some bready malt, but mostly super cheap white wine. Low bitterness. Let this stay an experiment...

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of anders37. Pours a hazy golden with a small off-white head. Tart aroma - I believe the pumpkin is coming through. Medium body, heavy fruitiness, initially sweet but the tartness prevails through the finish. Not overly enjoyable really. 030312

Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at chriso’s. Pours clear gold with a bubbly, white head. Fruity aroma with some booze and malt. Very sweet flavor with significant tang, booze, and fruit. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Tangy finish with some sharp dough, citrus, sugar. Not totally sure about this one, but it certainly didn’t blow me away.

Oakes (17668) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 26, 2011
Bottle. Vibrant orangey-tan. Opaque, not much head. The aroma has wood, cranberry, hint of something buggy, and indistinct malt, and maybe some pumpkin. On the palate, it is tart but the character isn’t all that pleasant. A rotting pumpkin tart cranberry and too much yeastiness mess. To me, there’s too much clash here.
