On tap at New Belgium Brewery on Colorado trip 2013. Opaque dark brown with long lasting head and excellent retention. Somewhat roasty and creamy aroma with milk chocolate. Taste is chocolate milk with roasted malt and faint char like burnt marshmallow. slowrunner77 (12594) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 10, 2014
"They somehow managed to trick you into thinking there were marshmallows in this bad boy. Lots of chocolate very very smooth. Did I mention it’s smooth? Robust, but wouldn’t have guessed 8+."

Draft at Thirsty Monk. Poured a thinner with dark burnt orange edges under a creamy beige head. Aroma and flavor of pudding, light vanilla, dry dark toast and some grain. Medium to thinner body with average carbonation. Meh was expecting more. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 18, 2014
Tasted during RBWG. Nutty malt aroma, kind of toasty. Some vanilla. Mostly clear, dark brown color. Kind of red color. Good dots and splotches of lace. Nice, smooth, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter finish. Solid, lightly dark fruity roasty porter. Good, but doesn’t taste at all smores-like, despite what many are saying. Maybe a hint of vanilla. Overall, though, just alright for what I expected.. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - FEB 14, 2014
Black/brown pour with creamy tan head and lace. Aroma is dry roasty malt and coffee. Sweet chocolate and coffee. Very sweet start and finish. Medium/full body with good carbonation.

On tap at Thirsty Monk during RBWG. Pours a clear deep amber with a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has earthy dark grains with a hint of chocolate and sweet marshmallow. Flavor is similar with earthy dark grains up front with marshmallow sweetness in the finish. A bit sweet for me. alexsdad06 (10672) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - FEB 6, 2014

Pour on tap at Choice City, dark brownish black pour with creamy tan head, on nitro. Aroma brought notes of dark chocolate, roast, lots of coffee bean, slight smoke into some earth, hints of wood. Taste is a mix of earth, roast, slight coffee, touch of smoke into chocolate, hints of earth, finishing fairly bitter.
