22 ounce bottle into signature globe glass, bottled on 4/5/2013. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of pear, apple, apricot, peach, plum, grape, honey, white wine, light funk, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruit, malt, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of pear, apricot, apple, peach, plum, grape, honey, herbal, light pepper, white wine, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of light fruits, peach, plum, grape, honey, herbal, white wine, light funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice balance and complexity of malt, yeast ester, and fruit addition flavors; with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a slick and lightly syrupy mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a good fruited Belgian strong ale. All around good balance and complexity of fruity yeast, malt, and pluot additions; and quite smooth to sip on for 10%. A nicely enjoyable offering. suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - JUL 30, 2013
Clear golden pour. Small, soapy, white head. Plenty of lacing. A bit of booze in the nose. Some muted fruit and malt. Big fruity flavor. Big heat as well. Finish is fruity with some malt. Tastes a lot like a Pinot Grigio. Or a sweet Riesling. Not bad. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 30, 2013
Bottle. Amber beer with a white head. Dusty and light fruity aroma with light yeast and light banana. Summer fruit and yeast flavor with light spice and light banana. Medium bodied. Sweet summer fruit lingers with yeast and light spice. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUL 29, 2013
Draft at sb. Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with tons of nucleation columns and a loose frothy bright white head. Musty funky footy nose. Creamy slick medium body with lively carb. Funky foot mid palate with soft plummy sweetness near the end. Quite a mess. dangjdangel (40) - - JUL 29, 2013
Delicious fruit beer! Tasted on tap at Stone Brewery. A very well rounded beer that's not too sweet-- difficult to find for a fruit beer. Looking forward to finding this in my neck of the woods!

Bottle poured into glass. I wasn’t sure what to make of this beer. The aroma’s, flavors and textures were just too foreign to me. I couldn’t really pin point anything that stuck out. drdisque (830) - Illinois, USA - JUL 26, 2013
On tap at little goat. Strong and sweet and a little sticky. Nectary but not overtly fruity. Slight tartness and good creamy malt in the finish. Good beer. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JUL 26, 2013
From a bottle poured a copper color with almost no head. Almost sickening sweet flavor with a lasting aftertaste. JulienHuxley (5792) - Trois-Rivières, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 26, 2013
Bottle. Nice clear gold pour with small white head. Aroma of intense pluots (which I’ve never eaten), very fruity, stonefruits, booze. Sweet and fruity, very boozy. Barely drinkable. skoisirius (1909) - Earth, Washington, USA - JUL 26, 2013
Pluots. I love pluots. So I had to try this. The whole ’Lips of Faith’ series has obviously gotten way out of control over the years, where as back in the day (that day being around ’06/’07) pretty much every LoF brew that came out was banging. These days it’s hit or miss. This one was kind of in the middle. Big Belgiany nose, body, mouthfeel...mostly in like a Belgian golden department, yet with this polite and fairly subtle flavor of pluots throughout. Could taste it enough to make it fun, but overall I’m not sure I’d buy this again. At least it wasn’t $15.99!
