Cross pollinate your tastebuds with Belgian imagination and youíll be sipping this ale while visions of pluots dance in your head. Pluots? A hybrid of apricots and plums that impart a subtle sweetness. Ferment that with a wild Belgian yeast strain and you have a fruity yet spicy nature with a body reminiscent of red wine. Delicious.

Apricot colored beer, whitish head. Overripe fruit flavors, sweet honey, yeast, odd malty flavors. NO harmony...not good.

bottle at a tasting. Aroma: Not sure how to describe this. Itís a weird, fruity aroma. Thatís the best I can do. Appearance: Fizzy orange/yellow with an average sized, diminishing white head. Taste: Sweet fruit. Plum apricot hybrid is probably not my favorite flavor. Bleh. Not bad, just wasnít crazy about it. Heavy sweetness and light acidity. Palate: Fizzy and sticky. Short finish. Overall: Iíd pass on it, but thatís just my personal taste. I like fruity beers sometimes, but this one was too sweet for me.

Golden pour with a short lived white head. Nose is slightly fruity with very little, if any, pluot. Mostly just sugary sweetness, some metal, and alcohol. A little bit of yeast and spice. The flavor is just more of the same. Sugary sweetness, light fruit, and some metal. Disappointing.

Surprisingly very pleased by this. Clear light golden pour with small ring of near white head. Nice fruity nose that seems just a little sweeter than regular apricots. The flavor is similar to that of a wheatwine but with a nice pear/plum juice quality. Sweet, but not fake syrup or medicinal at all. Every so slightly warming as it slides down the gullet. Semi chewy body. Hides that abv very well despite itís young age. Iíd be very interested to try this again in a few years.

On draught at Khouryís in Henderson, NV. Clear honey color with a medium thin white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of what must be a plout fruit: sweet pitted fruit, yeast and malt. Full-bodied and syrupy with flavors of sweet fruit, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is sweet with a lingering fruity yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft. Golden clear pour, with a white head. Sweet plums, stone fruit, sweet doughy bread, a bit cloying sugar, and yeast.

kbutler1 (1381) - North Carolina, USA - JUN 22, 2013
Bottle. Pours a golden orange color with a white head that quickly disappears. Mild Belgian yeast notes along with sweet fruit, pear and apricot. Medium mouthfeel. Sweet...apricot, orange, melon, and cherry all in this one. Belgian yeast evident at the end when the sweetness dies down. Drink cold as when it warms the 10% abv joins the flavor profile and not in a good way. What happened to the Lips of Faith series? It has become sooo hit or miss. Címon NB, youíre better than this.

I had this at Global Brew. This had a nice fruity aroma, pour a nice gold color. I thought this was really good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

651 ml. bottle. BBD. May 2014. Pours a thin fizzy, short lived white head, over a clear dark yellow (SRM 4) body......nose is peach, mango, light citrus, hints of pple......taste is sweet, with peach, plum, hints of apricot, finishing with hints of bitterness.....mouth feel light, sticky, moderate alcohol burn, slightly astringent, carbonation adds a soda quality. The net of this is a bit of soda pop, a bit of cider, a dash of Saison, and some tropical fruits thrown in. It really does not come together very well and is a mishmash of fruity aromas and flavors with minimal balancing malts and hops. This is another failed experiment. BJCP 7/2/9/4/5

EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - JUN 19, 2013
The appearance of this beer isnít terribly impressive due to its clear golden color and small white head that fades quickly, but the aroma is very attention-grabbing with its currents of hay, sweet fruit (plums specifically), and barnyard scented yeast. Initially, the beer is weird and intense in the mouth, but soon all the wild elements of this brew settle into themselves a little bit; the taste is quite sweet and slightly sour, and the palate combines a medium body, thin and very slick texture, soft carbonation, and an astringent finish.
