Pours sparkling golden with very little head but a good level of carbonation. Aroma is somewhat murky, with yeasty and dark fruit aromas and a touch of soy sauce. Very sweet and fruity flavor with a boozy finish. If you’re not a fan of fruity beers, definitely stay away from this one. I don’t mind them, but this one could admittedly use some more depth. Appearance: clear bright gold with a short, creamy, soapy, white head. Aroma: syrupy, with notes of honey, champagne, heather, mango, and undefinable fruit (presumably the pluots). Taste: sweet fruit, syrup, peach, plum, marmalade. Finish: thick, oily, viscous, and boozy, like an overly sweet dessert white wine. Notes: Not my cup of beer at all. Way too sweet and thick. On draft at Victoria’s Gastro Pub, Columbia, MD.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear yellow with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Dirty fruit, biscuit, straw, lightly tart, and floral aroma. Taste is plastic, minerals, phenolic, stale fruit peel, biscuit, and grass with a lightly bitter finish. Light body with high carbonation. Not good. Gachupines (1252) - USA - SEP 14, 2013
Pale gold with little to no head, almost looks like a white wine. Aroma is musty fruit, a little like red wine but less intense. Flavor is also reminiscent of a red with less body and a touch less fruitiness. A bit musty as well. Not bad, though a bit sweet and cloying in the finish.

Golden pour with a quickly disappearing white head amd visibke carbonation. Sweet lightly tart aroma more apricot than anything else. Well coated palate. Flavor is a bit cloyingly sweet. Fruit concentrate. Not very good.

Bottle: Bright clear golden, small sudsy white head, little lacing. Odd fruity/wine like aroma. Seems like both Red and White wine? Interesting fruitiness on the tongue, plums and wine. Smooth, slightly warming. Pluot, apricot married a plum ey? Not sure I get any apricot like aspects. Moderate to full body and mouthfeel. A little overly sweet on the finish, tart and tangy, fruity, plums, and moreso a white wine by this stage. Interesting... beaz1591 (238) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 3, 2013
Flute. Nothing special to look at. Pours a hazy apple juice color, no head, no lacing, almost no carbonation. Sweet smell of what I’m guessing is the pluot, reminds me of wine. Very sweet, strange tasting beer, I would swear it was wine if I didn’t see the bottle. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - SEP 3, 2013
Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear pale yellow hued body with a fizzy and somewhat fast fading white head with decent lace. Interesting and doughy aromas with almond paste, plum and pineapple upside down cake. Tangy, moderately estery, fruity, a touch rummy and boozy. Flavors are sweet and boozy, very fruity. Almost a raisinated/dried fruit flavor. Caramelized sugar. Estery yeast. Fruity and boozy, with nougat and almond paste. Moderate body, somewhat perceived sweetness with a dry finish. Some dark fruits, warming, medium to medium- low carbonation (2.35-2.4ish). Aholmb1 (134) - New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - SEP 2, 2013
Appearance: translucent cloudy orange color, semi dense head when poured, dissolves slightly quickly, white head
Aroma: sweet fruit notes
Taste: plum note, sweet yet bitter, sweet beer, tart, wine taste
Palette:bitterness, leaves a tart flavor on the tongue
Overall: I had higher hopes for this beer, it is a little bit too sweet for me
