At Paradiso Dupont, side by side with the Allagash version, in the company of the brewers, founders and staff from both breweries - what a way to enjoy a beer! Clear deep golden color. Aroma of citrus and strawberry (!). Taste is smooth, softly sour orange and grapefruit, oily mouthfeel. The lacto outweighs the brett in this one. Very nice. Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a hazy amber with a huge and frothy off-white head leaving laces - quite some retention. Tart, fruity nose with a subtle edge of Brett. Surprisingly light-bodied, yeasty and fruity with only the slightest tartness. Nice alright but not really sour though. 311011 Leighton (22814) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2013

22 oz. bottle, split amongst several of us, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of candied sugar, Belgian yeast and some floral notes. Flavour is a little more unusual, with strange spices, like the hibiscus and endives as indicated on the description, with candied sugar and sour metallic notes. Significant barnyard funk in there as well, but it’s distorted by all the strange spices and sourness. Not to my taste.
