Tallahassee, Fl - Proof Brewing Company - on tap. Light golden sparkling pour, light off white head. Aroma of scuppernong grapes, a hint of spearmint. Flavor has some hints of honey, a touch of passion fruit, a citrusy back end - which I assume is yuzu. Thick enough mouthfeel. NOt bad. Aurelius (5425) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Light greenish-gold, clear. Good tap handle. Perfumy and slightly cedery. Lightly sour and too frooty - tastes like a berry wine cooler. Lightish body, some mineral finish. Always want more out of a Berliner. Ontape (471) - Valley Village, California, USA - OCT 17, 2013
Bottle. Pours a light gold with light carbonation. Smells like it is going to be too sweet and sure enough it is. Barely tart, I would never guess this was a Berliner Weisse if I didn’t pour it myself. I have zero interest in drinking this one again. beer4briguy (5) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 13, 2013 does not count
Didn’t care for this one too much. Zippy palate. Tart, fruity flavors....too much tart, in my opinion. Unique, but not enough substance. Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Bomber. Hazy copper with a white head. Slight tart and barnyard odor. Weird orange and really refreshing.

Strange peppermint. Slightly tart orange.
Unique, blend of citrus and wheat. Light body, taste of a cream ale, tinge of tangy carbonation.
No booze. No big beer type taste. rougeau13 (3130) - Richmond, Texas, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Slightly hazy golden with a whitish head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, and sour yeast. Taste is fruity and a little sweet. Medium bodied. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Draft on tap at Bavarian Lodge (Lisle, IL). I’m not gonna lie.. I’m pretty happy I don’t actually have to buy a bottle of this. Pours a more hazy straw yellow hue, a bit darker, almost cloudy and murky with a frothy white brighter head atop. Some good stick around as a decent layer overall. Aromas show wheaty and bready malts, a bit doughy, flaked wheat starts to show some gentle fruit presence. A bit of lemon, some tartness is subtle and fleeting, getting a touch grainy and dry on the nose, yeast presence and a faint touch of yogurt. Initial is a mellow tart hit quickly moving to a more yeast driven front, a bit dry and firmly spicy. The wheaty malt base is a bit doughy and firm, some citrus fruit meets gentle straw, grass. Middle sweetens this up considerably, doughy malts meet some more apple, pear elements. A bit sweet, some gentle lactic acidity, citrus or what I presume to be "Yuzu" hits a bit but just can’t keep up. A bit sweet into the backend, a touch of bitterness at times. The lactic element really never gets off the ground. A touch too sweet and underdeveloped, I’m not quite sure why this has to be such a high ABV either. Meh. I guess I could drink this again but it’s just nothing like it’s advertised as. djd07 (15271) - Houston, Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2013
On tap at Falling Rock. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with thick white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is floral and fruit. Medium mouthfeel with vegetable flavor and light dry finish. Not much of a berliner. crossovert (13411) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 12, 2013
Yuzu dominant in taste and smell. Nice tartness and spice. This is not a Berliner Weisse though, not even close. maybe an imperial saison....
