I reAlly liked this. The sourness is immediate and is completed with a sour citrus as well. Astringent yet with a light finish,a good beer whose alcohol content is incredible for the style, as it retains the overall lightness one would expect. Yummy. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - SEP 5, 2013
I'm not overly familiar with this style, and have no clue what a yuzu is, but this is a smooth drinking beer. Wheat-oriented malt with just the right amount of sourness, and then infused with a lemony tartness although little citrus flavor permeates the sourness. Surprised the ABV is as high as it is at 8%. Good. B.

Draft at Trappeze in Athens. Hazy yellow color, fluffy white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of sweaty feet and belly button lint with lemons. Taste is softly sour sweat socks and light tropical fruit. Delicious. A Rockiesweisse, I guess. BullBoozer (7) - - OCT 24, 2013 does not count
Draft. Pours golden yellow with thin, rapidly diminished head. Slightly medicine, lemon citrus aroma. Compared to other Berliner weisse, only softly sour. Not a bad wheat, generally refreshing with a smooth mouthfeel and slight lemony yuzu aftertaste. Would drink again. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 16, 2014
One of the best of the series for me no doubt! Pours deep straw somewhat cloudy with a creamy white head. Aroma is awesome, tart and some green ale sweetness up front and then funk that blend so well. Flavor brings some tartness and light tang, but not big like the aroma. Lacto is much nice in the nose, underdeveloped in the body. The tang could have been enhanced by the yuzu.

Bomber at turbid fold, huge fruit, yeas, funk, solid beer, lactic tartness, smooth fniish. SudsMcDuff (8429) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - DEC 12, 2013
Had a few times on tap @ Nobi .. . The smell is intoxicating, well- its kinda weird. It smells exactly like south african beef jerky (biltong) .. . Quite sweet, very well masked alcohol .. . I loved this beer, but if you are looking for even a hint of a typical berlinner weisse type beer. This aint it .. . . .thug life has got nothing on beard life! Saison-like aroma with a slight sourness and hay along with a light citrus note. Lightly hazy pale yellow with a long lasting soapy white head. All of the aroma follows into the taste with a clear but not overwhelming sour taste along with the wheaty barnyard flavors of a Saison. The citrus component is like a cross of lemon, light guava and pear and is very tasty and food friendly. The 8% ABV is almost entirely undetectable and you’d risk getting completely wasted if you had a few of these around and didn’t take that into account. Again, a Saison like dryness follows the lightly sweet flavor and wraps everything up nicely. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into with an Asian fruit juice injected Imperial Berliner Weisse (that just sounds ridiculous based on the style), but this was a real, extremely tasty surprise! Pours a light yellow color, citrus on the nose, slightly tart with a citrus finish, never had a Yuzu but this beer is pretty good, what’s up haters Emeister84 (2505) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - SEP 12, 2013
Aromas of green apple, elderberry, and lemony, sharp, citrus fruit, with subtle grass. Slightly hazy, light bronze-gold, with a lasting ring of white lace. Tart, dry, and funky, with sharp, crispy, fruity flavors of apple, melon, and white peach. Light bodied, crispy, and very clean, especially considering the ABV.
