The longer the table, the more room for friends. This season, our new Long Table Farmhouse Ale is the best excuse to pull up a chair with your closest companions for a few rounds. An ode to the bucolic, table-friendly Belgian saison, we’ve added a delightfully new hoppy spin to the style, creating a sip that whisks a taste of the tropics into the Old World. Traditional grains of Munich, pale malt and rye lend a wash of toasty, spicy bread, while exotic Nelson Sauvin and citrusy Chinook hops buoy the juicy fruit flavors of our Belgian yeast. So gather around and get ready to hoist this spritz complex farmhouse ale amongst the company of friends.

Visual: (cellared for 2 years). Pours translucent golden orange without much of a head, ring with large island retention, a bit of lacing, scatter singular micro streams.

Nose: banana, liquid pils malt. (lvl-5)-pungency.

Attack: crisp, tingly

Mid-palate: banana wheat malt, (lvl-3-sweetness), off-dry grainy malt, hints of mango

Finish: banana wheat malt exhale, subtle short bitterness, mild palate rough

Summary: Quite a tropical fruity base with a solid grainy malt to back it up. Overall it drank very easy with a bit of minor palate roughness at the finish.

A very quaffable Belgian style Siason "Farmhouse ale" notes of dough, Citrus and pepper. effervescent with a dry finish. perfectly hopped with Belgium yeast creating a definite sour/ bitter presence that creates a very refreshing enjoyable brew Second tasting; not as keen on it this time but enjoyed it after it warmed up a bit Third tasting: a decent beer but not great. Sue liked it quite a bit Still working on my six pack, so I'm trying it again. Light and enjoyable, Dry. Hopped but not overly so, just the right amount for the brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a turbid gold-straw with lazy carbonation. Fruity nose, Muted taste, minimal grain with a hint of banana. A bit of bite for the aftertaste and it fades. Tasty for our hot summers; I can get behind this one.

Pours a hazy yellowish/gold color. Aromas of tart fruit, bread, hint of citrus, a little honey and yeasty. Flavor is malty/citrus. Leaves a yeasty orange aftertaste. Almost like a Belgian Wit.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with ivory head. Nice rye bread, light toast, dry spice, fruity aromas. Smooth medium body. Toasty rye bread, dry spice, dry hay flavors with some light fruitage, and Saison yeast----very tasty.

Rated on 7-31-2015. This beer has a very small white head, gold transparent body, no visible carbonation observed, and no lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, fruity and some malt. The flavor mimics the aroma. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A beer that I do not care for the taste which is disappointing since I like saisons.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of all foam finely sized light white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated transparent weak yellow orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow fruity aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of hazelnut tart toffee candy and fruity. An OK brew just nothing special.

Draft: Mild musty, lemon zest aroma. Hazy golden, thin head. Musty lemon, white grape. Light body, moderate carbonation.

Pours a nice hazy yellow color with a big fluffy white head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is multi grain bread and wet limestone for the most part with a light bit of dead leaf, herbal hop, and very mild banana character. really not a bad combo for a saison.

The flavor is really very pleasant, it’s dry and mildly bitter. It’s got a nice leafy and herbal thing happening, it’s spicy but it’s also fruity. The yeast driven fruitiness seems to be lower than the hop driven fruitiness... so like a very light banana thing mixed with a bright citrus & mango thing. Honestly it’s very well balanced all around.

The palate is prickly and bubbly but surprisingly light.

This is a very good beer, and certainly a bit of a break from the "house" character of New Belgium.
