Described as cherry Felix love, pale sour aged in Apple whiskey barrels w/cherry. 8.5%abv. Nice lactic sour aroma and flavor. Sour maybe 5 or 6 of 10. Nice pucker sour. Tannic dry oaky woody comes through well with the Apple whiskey. It is very nice balanced sour and complex. The apple whiskey comes through quite nice in this one. I am questioning if there is additional cherry in this or just dark fruit woody flavors in the finish. It is really good either way!! BuckeyeBoy (8569) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 9, 2015
On tap at taphouse Boise. Pours out a hazy orangeish golden topped with a small head. Nose is great sour tart apple lots of barrel notes and plenty whiskey. Taste is more of the great tart sour apple barrel vanilla whiskey. willisread (3695) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 26, 2015
Tap at Watering Hole. Copper with a small off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Big aromas of green apple, pear, fig and apricot with some grass and booze. Dry and sweet on the palate with lots of oak. Booze is there but hidden quite well. Apple brandy like in a way. Excellent! PartyFowle (954) - - JUL 21, 2015
Cloudy apricot hue with a fluffy white head. Aroma is lemon juice, tangerine, peach, mild funk, red apple. Amazing nose. Flavor blends wheat, sour apple, peach, mild funk, white pepper, medium-level acidity. Perfectly balanced, good complexity. Another amazing iteration. Nice pour at this year’s FunkFest at Bittercreek. Pours a slightly hazed dark amber brew.. Light khaki head with no real retention or lacing. Nose is sharp acid with oak and the whiskey only barely delivers the apple promise. Definitely shows the bones of La Folie... burning acidity, but not unpleasant.. With warmth a lot more fruity complexity arises (underripe plum, tart cherries) but so does the acidity... Well done, but 10oz was plenty until the next time I see this rarity.

10 oz pour on tap at Bittercreek. Pretty acidic nose, brown in color. I have loved every variant of this beer. Alchol is pretty hidden when cold, but letting it warm up some makes it even better. Travlr (26214) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 28, 2014
Draft at Max’s Belgian fest. Cloudy brown color. Aroma of vanilla, cherry, plum, raisin. Taste is softly sour plum, tart cranberry, mixed winter fruit. Delicious. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUN 30, 2014

On tap at Fredfest 2014. Pours dark brown with a decent beige head and a whiskey aroma. There is a very sour apple flavor with a lot of whiskey. brokensail (16670) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 10, 2014
On tap @ Churchill’s. Dark amber pour with a small off-white head. Highly acetic aroma. Green apple, lemon juice, and sour berry as well. Some grass, oak, cola, and mild whiskey/booze. This has to have a pH of about 2, holy moly. Super vinegar, lemon juice, and sour green apple. A bit of sour berry, citric acid, and some grass. Dry oaky finish, mild whiskey, and a subtle sugar/malt sweetness.
