Sampled at Sourfest 2010. Red brown pour with a tan head. Great spiciness. Lots of cinnamin and some clove or nutmeg. Sweet and tart and spicy. Great. JohnnyJ (5562) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 30, 2010
Sample at stone sour ale fest 2010. Dark hazy brown/red pour. Cherries, sweetness, sour apples, tart, spice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Reminds me of wassail. This would be excellent at christmas. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - JUL 25, 2010
Tasted on tap at the 4th Annual Stone Sour Fest on 7/18/2010. This sour ale pours a cloudy medium brown color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and sweet. A medium bodied sour. The malts are fruity and sweet, very tart, very dry, yet very spicy and sweet. Little to no carbonation. Lots of tartness. Smooth taste. Very interesting combination of spice, sour and tart. It’s like a sour pumpkin pie, without the pumpkin. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is tart. A spiced sour, who’d a thunk it? That said it was pretty damn good, a lot better than I anticipated. Pours a rich dark cloudy red. Nose has big notes of cinnamon, and nutmeg. Taste is sweet, spiced and tart, all around interesting and uniquely different from the sours i’ve had. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 19, 2010
On tap at Stone Sour Fest. This was the bizarre beer of the day. Pours with a murky brown body and a tan head. Aroma is cinnamon, nutmeg, mulled wine and sourness. Taste is sour cinnamon toast with a big squeeze of lemon. Odd combination, but not have bad. Dry and lively mouthfeel. Very strange!

Tap @ Stone Sour Fest 2010. Pours much darker than its cousin Felix, medium amber but clear, small off white ring. Nose, Like Tokyogoat said was big on cinnamon roll as well as muddled tart citrus. Pretty cool stuff but Felix was much better. tokyogoat (1503) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 18, 2010
nose was strictly cinnamon roll, nothing else, smelled like i was at a cinnabon at 5am. Quite nice, yet bizarre. Unfortunately it didnt taste quite as good, mostly acetic with loads of spice and not much else. fun novelty sour though. BrotherGrendel (787) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 18, 2010
First! Stone sourfest. Cloudy amber with no head. Nose is super spicy with hints of lavender, jasmine, honey and dark fruits. Flavor is full of tart fruits with a backbone of drying spices, hints of barrel aging, finishes dry. A sour with a spicy aroma but smooth and solid dry tartness, delicious!
