On tap at Von Trier, Milwaukee Beer Week. Beautiful orange pour with amazing lacing white head. Gorgeous beer. Aroma is full of oak, vanilla, during peaches, big acetic sour, some cheesy funk. Taste is mouth puckering sour, but has balancing notes of sweet peach and vanilla, woody tannic oak with a slight funky note, very sour and dry finish. Absolutely amazing. 1FastSTi (3361) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 5, 2011
On tap at Von Trier, Milwaukee Beer Week. I ended up drinking 1.5+ liters of this beer. It was amazing. The beer poured to a super sexy murky orange straw colored body with a tall dense frothy white head. Gorgeous lacing displayed in the glass. The aroma is sour peaches, acid, subtle vanilla. I didn’t get that much oak. The flavor was as intense as some of Cantillon’s beers, which, fortunately for me is just what I’m looking for. Acid, tart peaches, subtle vanilla and oak. This one is blended perfectly. The palate is perfect. Super acidic, velvety, and puckering. Medium full body, but finishes pretty clean. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 28, 2011
Vanilla/peach nose with a little oak to it. Maybe one of the greatest fruit beers I have ever had. Wow, so smooth, yet so intense this is totally worth it. A little whiskey burn. A little tart and saliva inducing amazing. Different with every sip. crossovert (13730) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Golden pour, did not pick up much whiskey save for a slight caramel oak flavor. It is mostly sour and lactic acidic peach flavor. It is an extremely sour ale. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - JUL 16, 2011
Draught at Toronado. Holy shit this was good. Pure sour peach awesomeness with lots of fruit flavor and lactic acidity. Liked this a lot more than the blackberry version. Easily the best NB sour that I’ve had. Makes Erics ale look pretty weak by comparison.

The dregs from SourThon, served up at Sam’s. Pours foggy orange-amber, with bubbly thin beige foam. Nose of sour peaches, apricots, peach skins, funk, wood, vinegar, wild yeast, and a bit of bourbon and vanilla. Not as overpowering on that front as others have noted. Perhaps the last of the keg is funkier? Taste is fruity, funky, acetic as hell. Finishes dry as hell. Wonderful. Steve_0 (3744) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 10, 2014
On tap @ Avery Sour Fest 2014. Pour is slightly hazy orange with a small white head and good lacing. Peach skin, tannic, huge oak, biscuit, apricots, white wine and tangy aroma. Taste is very well-balanced - fresh peaches, apricot skins, white grapes, green apples, wood and pepper with a medium sour finish. Slick mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not usually a huge fan of whiskey barrel aged sours, but I seem to always enjoy the Felix iterations. One of the best beers of the fest, if not the best. bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 20, 2011
(Growler, courtesy of thirdeye11) Pours a lightly hazy orange body with a moderate off-white head and descent lacing. Aroma of peach, wood, yogurt, vanilla, and bourbon. Flavor of citrus, lacto, pedio, peach, oak, and vanilla. Prickly tart and quite an interesting American sour. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUN 23, 2011
Growler via thirdeye11. Pours with a very large, ever so slightly off-white head that clings to the glass, leaving good lace (impressive). Hazed orange body sits beneath. Aromas are great! Huge musty, white wine and vanilla notes. Acidic white peach, funky, lacto, cotton candy, sweet caramel and vanillin, a bit of canned pineapple, and some tropical fruit funk that reminds me of Brett C or A. Very complex. Flavors are acidic right off the bat, a bit of acetobacter, and vinegar, rich oak and vanilla, a bit harsh. You can taste the alcohol a bit. A very nice fruitiness (some esters as well), mildly funky. Tannins, lots of ripe fruit. Very nice. Lively bubbles with a creamy sensation. Lasting pucker. Dry, acidic. Well done. I liked this one quite a bit more than the apple version. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 8, 2011
(Growler) cloudy gold with good lacing and a tan head. Nose of charred wood, fresh peach, touch of whiskey, light funk, vanilla, and nutty. Taste of peach, tart tangerine, touch of whiskey, wet wood, prickly carbonation, complex and awesome.
