MIGHTY ARROW Pale Ale provides lots of pleasurable sniffs from Amarillo and Cascade hops with a fetching honey malt base. This is our brewed tribute to Arrow, Kim’s Aussie/Border Collie mix who ran (literally) New Belgium for 12 years. When she wasn’t patrolling the brewery grounds, she was famous for her office visits: She never met a tummy rub she didn’t like. Atta girl Arrow.

Bottle at friend’s wedding. Aroma was slightly sweet malts, nice toasted notes and plenty of sweet, pine hop character. Flavor was nice, easy to drink hops and malts. Well balanced. Pretty easy to drink. I think this one would be easy for the newcomer but interesting enough to keep the serious beer drinker entertained.

Not a big fan of heavy hops. Pretty rich golden pour with a little bit of white head. Hop bitterness last a while in the after taste.

Pours golden. Nice aroma but very light. Slight citrus hop with even slighter biscuity malt aroma. Flavor is just like aroma; very light. Nothing offensive, however. Good beer for a hot day after work or doing yard work. Light body, shy hop bite, very light but good nonetheless.

This is a very nice crisp refreshing ipa that isnt too over powering, a enjoyable brew that goes down easy

Poured from a bottle with a yellow color and a foamy white head. Has a light hoppy citrus aroma. Unfortunately I didn’t get much of a flavor from this. There was a touch of citrus and hops. It does have a nice medium body mouthfeel. Overall just okay. Maybe a revisit will change my mind, as I did have this after having a couple of other beers with strong flavors.

Pleasant, innocuous mouthfeel with some lemon grass notes. There’s some moderate, fleeting hop complexity going on, but not enough to overwhelm the style. Decent brew that would pair well with most foods.

12 ounce bottle into signature globe glass, best before 5/11/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with plenty of bright hop notes with moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Light floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light caramel, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice flavor complexity of bright citrus hops and moderate malt sweetness; with a nice malt/hop flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent pale ale. All around great complexity and balance of bright citrus hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Lightly earthy orange malt and orange peel/pine aroma. Golden yellow with moderate off-white head. Sweet orange malt and mildly bitter pine/orange peel flavor. Lingering bitterness in the finish. Hops subdued.

Light with foamy white head. Mild hop aroma of pine and citrus that does not foreshadow a big hop assault. True to that aroma, it had a sweet malty base an decent hop profile but not overpowering. Perfect for me. This is one of my favorites from this brewery now that they discontinued Skinny Dip. It's a great session beer with enough flavor to be satisfying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Clear yellow with a foamy white head. Aromas of citrus, pine, resin, spice, biscuit and light grapefruit. Flavor is the same with a slightly dry finish. Light bodied.
