Light amber with slight off white head, holds a lace. Sweet and slightly floral nose. Excellent feel in the mouth from start to finish. Grass and floral predominate in the hops, with little residual malt flavour. Overall a very enjoyable american pale ale. ALLOVATE (3015) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 12, 2011
Not much to look at; pours a light amber with shy, sparse carbonation and bright as bright. Sloppy white pad dons it, holds well but leaves mere hairlines of lace. Piney, slightly acidic, lemon and lime zest on the nose with undertones of burnt toast and doughy malt, honey and herbal tea - unexpected. Quite nutty in the mouth, again a pronounced burnt toast flavour comes through levelled by notes of fresh baked, grainy wholemeal loaf and a solid dose of peppery and raw fresh hops. A little fruit such as lychee, lime and pear develops in the tail. Drops off all hops, medially bitter and very clean and short. The tea plays in, as does the sweetness of honey as it warms. This is interesting stuff, I like it. Comes across more English than American. Fits the session ale bill for me nicely, and I like the story of the Aussie border collie. The only thing good about this beer is the story behind the history of this beer. It’s a cute story of Might Arrow who used to roam the brewery and blah blah blah but other than that, this brew is nothing to brag about. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 5, 2011

Beautiful pour into Estrella Damm tall pint glass. 2" off-white head, dark gold beer. Soft, sweet aroma with the lightest touches of banana and pine. Flavor is full, mouthfeel balanced, finish light. Hops are in check. Nothing earth-shattering, but pretty nice.

12oz bottle from Callahan’s Pub. Poured into a Shaker.
Large amount of frothy white head that lasts and lasts leaving excellent lacing. Color is light orange.
Aroma is a light amount of malt. Toffee and honey. With a light amount of flowery hops.
Light bodied with an oily texture, it has lively carbonation and almost no finish.
Palate is lightly sweet and lightly bitter.
Overall, it wasn’t too bad. Nothing I would seek out but maybe something I would buy on a discount rack at my local bottle shop. Gr0ve (2177) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 10, 2011
355 ml bottle. Golden and crystal clear. Creamy white head that clings to the glass. Papery and spicy hops aroma with fresh cut grass, a little grapefruit, apricots and citrus. Much more of this in the flavour. Lots of hop flavours but little bitterness. Texture is papery but not particularly dry. Very nicely balanced beer. Really nice. gam (3930) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUN 3, 2011

12oz. btl. Pours light amber and clear with citrus notes; very simular to an IPA. Body is full and lively with medium to heavy bitterness, depending on your taste buds. The finish is long and full of life and quite refreshing. Great beer and taste. Oscbert (1302) - Lincoln, California, USA - MAY 31, 2011
