~Big citrus grapefruity aroma with biscuity malt background.
~Pours clear gold with lasting white head. Good lacing.
~Citrusy grapefruit flavor well balanced with toasty biscuity malt.
~Med body, med CO2, lingering citrus bitterness.
~Basic pale ale. Nothings ets it apart from all the others. Westmeister (2127) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 23, 2011
Bottle. Pours a light golden amber with a smallish white head that recedes slowly and leaves decent lacing. The aroma has some crisp grassy hops with hints of citrus. The taste is a very crisp citrus and malt mix. Good combination and balance here. Finishes with a little crispy bitterness that doesn’t last. Extremely drinkable as it is very light which also means that there is not an overabundence of flavor. Good sessionable beer.

Clear golden orange body with lasting white head. The nose is the best part, lovely hops with malt support, touch let down in the taste, hops again but no real zing to it though drinkable. jc4031 (129) - Colorado, USA - MAY 13, 2011
copper pale ale, bready aroma, notes of bread in the taste not getting much hops in aroma, pretty well balanced. a decent pale kbutler1 (1382) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 12, 2011
Bottle. Poured into a NG tulip glass (how fitting!) a clear light copper color with a 1 1/2 finger white fluffy white head that leaves lace as it settles. Nice hoppy aroma, not too overwhelming though, of orange citrus with a slight breadiness. Even though the aroma is light, it’s very pleasing. Medium/light mouthfeel. Slight sweet start with a slow building citrus flavor bitterness that never really gets too out of control. No real evidence of booze at all. Although this isn’t the most flavorful APA I’ve had, it is easy drinking and fairly decent tasting.

pours a way too clear medium straw with a light top head, ok retention but the head is too bubbly and watery... the aroma is weak, sweet on the front, with distinct wet dog backbone, a light pine finish, bad... watery super light and boring taste, a hint of sweet grains on the front but that’s about it. doesn’t taste bad, just boring might as well be drinking watery, unoffensive... pass, maybe I’ll substitute for a glass of water sometime Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - MAY 8, 2011
Pours a copper color typical of pale ales. Aroma is of hops and floral notes. Taste is floral and grassy with an aftertaste that is slightly bitter. This is your typical pale ale, nothing special. Sammer (1119) - Plano, Texas, USA - MAY 8, 2011
Deep gold, almost orange pour from bottle with a thin white head. Aroma is hay and some sugar. Taste is malt, yeast, hops, grass and honey. Complex and interesting. I’ll drink this one again. wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - MAY 6, 2011
Bottle - Pours a clear apple juice color. Earthy aroma. Small white head. Decent lacing. Some citrus in flavor. Very crisp and clean finish. Subtle but enjoyable mouthfeel. Quality brew. Nothing specific jumps out at me, but I rate this very high on the drinkability meter. If this were available locally I could see myself drinking it often. Picked this one up as a single at a local grocery in Chicago. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2011
Nice APA. Not too hoppy but just right and smooth. I enjoy all of New Belgiums beers because they are very flavorful and this one is subtle and understated. Nice offering.
