Tap @ brewery. Golden yellow orange appearance with a white head that disappears pretty quickly. Bushy hoppy nose. Pretty bitter hoppy flavor. The hoppiness is a mild bushy, piney flavor. Pretty mild yet refreshing IPA. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - FEB 8, 2009
BOTTLE: copper pour, aroma is grain, faint hops, and yeast. A little sweet/honey on taste. Decent beer, but not spectacular. DuffMan (10435) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 5, 2010
Bottle. Clear golden, foamy white head that leaves some delicate lace. Nice pine and grapefruit hop aroma. Light malts, generously hopped with flavours of grapefruit rind and light pine, light in the body despite the 6%. Very good. phaleslu (10271) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 26, 2011
12 oz. bottle from Randall’s. Pours a clear, deep gold color with a thin white head. Aroma of floral, herbal hops, honey, citrus peel, and mild spices. Flavor of floral and herbal hops, pale malts, honey, spices, citrus peel, and corn flakes. Light-bodied, with medium to high carbonation and a spicy, sweet, and fizzy mouthfeel. Good APA, and interesting. marcus (10231) - Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 20, 2009
This light amber ale poured with a fluffy off-white head and an intense floral aroma. The flavor is chock full of citrus floating upon a solid caramel malt base. Quite refreshing and fairly tasty.

Props to New Belgium. Finally an APA that stands out.
Pours a golden/copper with thick off-white head.
Aroma of herbal/grassy hops.and some citrus notes.
Taste, floral hoppy with thick mouthfeel light sweet honey malts and spices. Some pale malts and tittering fruit notes of grapefruit and some citrus. Overall it remains rather sweet and extremely drinkable.
This is one fine beer, well balanced between the hops and the sweetness.

Sampled at Denver Winter Brewfest 2011. Clear light amber in color with sweet flowery grassy hop aroma. Taste profile is typical of a pale, but watered down somehow. A bit too floral and bitter and lacking body. A big fat "meh" arminjewell (9675) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - SEP 29, 2010
Pours golden with white head, aroma is mild pine hops and touch of biscuit. Taste is nice piny hops up front, some biscuity malt, bitter finish. Very standard fare but good. Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 20, 2008
Draught. Low fluffy off-white lasting head. Hazy yellow body. Fruity malty aroma without much character. Fruity dry and salty hops bitter flavor with high carbonation and a bit short aftertaste. 3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 20, 2008
Draft at New Belgium. Clear honey amber colored body, white head dies quickly but leaves sticky cobweb lacing on the glass. Strange blandness up front, pasty across the middle, with some sharp and moderately bitter hops notices... dry, catty, tastes like fresh cut pine. Strange and sort of gross flavors... something like catty simcoe mixed with a harsh cracked grain character. Body is medium up front, falls apart in the back... a nice simcoe/catty/pine hop aroma is noticed over time, but there’s too much wrong with this beer to do any good. Simple, unimposing, but boring.
