COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first venture into organically-produced beer, Mothership Wit Organic Wheat Beer elevates the zesty Wit or White beers of Belgium. Our far-flung Beer Rangers affectionately refer to our Fort Collins brewery as the Mothership, a name that conjures images of earth shot from space and the interconnectivity of it all. Mothership Wit is brewed with wheat and barley malt, as well as coriander and orange peel spicing resulting in a balance of citrus and sour flavors held in suspension by a bright burst of carbonation.

PhatCatt (87) - Michigan, USA - AUG 10, 2016
UPDATED: AUG 31, 2016 Poured into tumbler, typical wheat beer color, but with a yellow mineral tinge. Orange peel, I like that there is not too much spice unlike another witbier I tried.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured hazy pale gold with a small white head and no real lacing. Aroma of citrus fruit and coriander. Taste is malty combined with some citrus fruit and some yeast notes. OK, drinkable, not the greatest.

Popoff91 (124) - Oregon, USA - JUN 16, 2016
12-ounce bottles in a glass. A bit sweeter than other white ales I have had, and a bit lighter in color, but not enough wheat flavor. I’ll stick with SA Cold Snap.

On tap at the brewery. Yellow and slight hazy appearance with a lacy white head. Toasty, herbal, zesty and spicy. A nice, clean and easy-to-drink Wit overall. Glad to have this back!

Bottle in Breck with friends. Pour is slightly hazy lemon peel with a big white head and sticky lacing. Bright citrus, nice wheaty malt, coriander, white pepper, somewhat grassy and floral aroma. Taste is waxy, lemony, wheaty, citrusy, peppery, and coriander with a slight spicy finish. Full mouthfeel with high carbonation. Really nice summer quaffer.

Smooth witbier. Reminds me a bit of hoegarrden though a bit better and more flavorful. Nice to drink on the patio during summer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with white head. Yeasty, wheat, citrus, grain aromas. Citrus, yeasty, spicy, wheat flavors. Not quite as good as I remembered from 6-7 years ago, but still a really good wit.
