Pale, slightly cloudy with a fine white head. Decent lacing. Aroma of yeast, coriander, and sweet lemon. Taste is quite nice. Light with a lot of carbonation on the palate. Sweetness, a little tartness, and a great finish. A thirst quencher with taste. A great beer.
Not a particularly memorable beer. Pale and thin come to mind. The taste had a quick hint of orange but more asbif someone accidentally dropped some in while it was brewing. Not bad but barely average.

A- Cloves, coriander, spices, wheat.
A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Coriander, spices, subtle citrus, wheat.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish.
O- An overly spiced wit for sure. Maybe a bit heavy on the coriander. Not too bad. Pretty typical for the style. geologyguy (1583) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - OCT 31, 2016
Light wit smell, very pale yellow, lightly cloudy, looks very cool, taste is light, very neutral on flavor, not sweet or hoppy, hardly any depth, not much to rate...just a light sourness... Halloween at home first time!! hershiser2 (3011) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - SEP 24, 2016
$1.59 Bottle from Whole Foods, CHO. Pours pale golden with a tiny white head. Aroma of lemongrass, minor spice, minor vegetation (perhaps slightly rotten). Taste is lemongrass, bread, light clove, earth, yeast, bubblegum. It’s inoffensive. superspak (5499) - Michigan, USA - SEP 15, 2016
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 10/9/2016. Pours hazy golden straw color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, balance, and solid robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/grainy mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a very good witbier. All around good complexity, balance, and solid robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Like any self-respecting Belgian-inspired brewery, New Belgium has made some excellent Witbiers in its time. Mothership Wit is nicely done; it fits the standard of what to expect from a Wit made on American soil. Yellow and foamy, mostly sweet, lightly spicy, lightly citrusy, and light-bodied. Highly drinkable. Not as good as some of the other Wits in New Belgium’s inventory but solid. ScoWRee (421) - Perkiomen, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2016
Pours a hazy golden color with a thin white foamy head. Aroma is slightly fruity. Hints orange. Taste is very watery, very very..... muzzlehatch (4950) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 30, 2016
Un-Muzzling Olde Muzzlehatch Ratings, #56. On draught at Acadia Café in Minneapolis, August 2008. Extremely pale cloudy yellow with a small but lasting white bubbly head and good lacing...honey-spicy nose, a bit of citrus, light dusty yeast...juicy, citric flavors, with lovely dryish cookie-biscuit malts in the body, very well-balanced on the sweet-tart-malty front...full but quite supple body, strong but appropriate carbonation. Got this one in a variety 12 pack from New Belgium. 12 oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Cloudy yellow color with a creamy whipped head on top. The nose opens up aromas of floral, clove, spice, lemon and banana with a a trace of bubblegum funk. The taste is lemon zest, creamy wheat, banana and herbal spice. UPDATED: AUG 31, 2016 Poured into tumbler, typical wheat beer color, but with a yellow mineral tinge. Orange peel, I like that there is not too much spice unlike another witbier I tried.
