Whats that bite of tartness doing in a pumpkin beer? Adding the unexpected kick of cranberry juice to brighten this traditionally spiced seasonal ale. PUMPKICK is brewed with plenty of pumpkin juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, but its the cranberries and touch of lemongrass that send your tastebuds sailing.

Hazy, amber, tall, orangy fluffy head. Light body, flavorful, low heat, lean but vibrant mouthfeel, avg length. Crisp, sweetness disguised by acidity, slight bitterness which gets pronounced at the finish, interesting balance. Delicious sweet-spices flavor, pumpkin, tobacco. Very enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tan head. Light brown, spicy. Little tart flavor. Draught at a bar. Great beer to drink in an airport.

This is the PERFECT pumpkin gose type beer. No, its it officially a gose, but its cranberry flavor is much more reminiscent of a tart wheat beer than a typical pumpkin selection and the pumpkin flavor is just present enough to keep it a pumpkin beer.

Bottle from Meijer poured into a pint glass, orange with a bit of white head. Aroma of pumpkin spice is nicer than the watery bland taste. There are a whole lot of pumpkin ales and stouts out there far above this product.

I was a little concerned about the ingredients but they complimented each other very well. Cheers! Tasted by Cannery Row Beer Club. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Bierstube. Hazy orange amber with a minimal top. Vibrant pumpkin brew. Actually tasting real pumpkin here. The expected spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, clove) is present but not too far forward. The tart cranberry is a nice touch. Hints of black tea, lemongrass and hibiscus. Aroma is a bit blunted. Palate is a bit watery. But flavors are great.

Draft at Magerks. Pours hazy amber with a fizzy beige head. Tastes like pumpkin, citrus hops, cranberry, and cookie malt. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices, cranberry, citrus hops, and cookie malt.

(Bottle). Complements of Mark for Mets wildcard game. Big pumpkin and spice aroma. Dissipating head but adds glass lacing. Decent pumpkin flavor but too many spices overcome not compliment. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

DATE: October 2, 2016... OCCASION: a good weekend finishes with an October-worthy brew... GLASSWARE: Schneider Edel-Weisse pokal... pours a nearly opaque, medium amber body that bubbles convivially from its base... head is soapy, white and bubbly as well... lacing arcs and streams....the immediate "kick" of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice, as the label promises, is full... pumpkin spice and cookie dough make for a dessert suggestion, as does some subtle ginger... vibrant palate activates the tongue, with a medium-bodied presence that drinks amiably... the cranberries add a tartness that makes this a slightly puckering, warming finish... this drinks wonderfully well for a beer with this much to unpack... some citrus hints blend with cookie malts to balance a robust profile--quite a treat... enough uniqueness here to carve its own niche in the season...
