Whats that bite of tartness doing in a pumpkin beer? Adding the unexpected kick of cranberry juice to brighten this traditionally spiced seasonal ale. PUMPKICK is brewed with plenty of pumpkin juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, but its the cranberries and touch of lemongrass that send your tastebuds sailing.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy, golden, tan with a white frothy head that dissipates slowly. Strong pumpkin, nutmeg, and allspice aromas. Taste is medium sweet with strong flavors of pumpkin, nutmeg, and allspice. There are lemon and citrus undertones too. Body is medium, texture is a little thin and sticky, carbonation is average, and the finish is slightly sour (lemony). Overall, an okay beer whose aroma is slightly better than its taste. Im not sure if I would buy it again, but Im not unhappy that I bought a 6-pack to try.

Come on it was exactly as advertised! Cranberry brings a tart flavor before hit of pumpkin that isnt super upfront. Very drinkable, without being over the top. I enjoyed it for the style.

Light haze to a orange pour. Aroma is pumpkin, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg. Taste follows nose...blah blah blah. Ok pumpkin. Aroma better than taste, but nothing special.

Bottle into pint glass, hazy ambery-golden color with light tan head. Aroma notes of pumpkin spices (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg), caramel and faint berry. Taste adds bread, herbal yeast and faint cranberry tartness. Light body, moderate-low carbonation, tad soft with spice/light tart berry finish. Pretty solid pumpkin ale with some cranberry towards the end, nice.

12oz bottle. 1/29/17 best by date. Appearance: Light golden, hazy, with a light off white foam cap. Aroma: Strong pumpkin spicing, heavy on cinnamon and allspice, with a slight touch of berry. Taste: Bready, toasty maltiness with nutmeg, turning to a sharp cinnamon, and ends with a tart berry note. Moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a low to moderate carbonation. Finish: Bready maltiness with a cinnamon and nutmeg pumpkin spicing that pops up retronasally. Overall: Fairly standard pumpkin ale that differs by adding a touch of cranberry. The berry character is very minimal, adding a slight tartness on the swallow. There is a nice bready and toasted malt character as well. Nice beer, but not sure Id order a 2nd

Nutmeg, cinnamon bread aroma, with raisin and dried cranberry. Pours an amberish orange color with small disappearing head Bready malt flavor with cinnamon and nutmeg and cranberry. Medium bodied with medium high co2, refreshing tartness with lingering spice finish. One of the better pumpkin style beers I've had ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours orange gold with a thin, creamy head. Aromas of caramel and pumpkin spice. Upfront flavors of sweet pumpkin and spice followed by citrus, honey and grass. Slight herbal notes and bread in the finish. Slightly peppery mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Really, not too bad. This is not a typical pumpkin beer.

[Bottle] Pours amber with almost no head. Aroma is spice dominant with little else going on. One dimensional, but not bad. Taste is alright. Odd bitterness sticks out while cold, and the pumpkin seems muted and reliant on the spices to carry it. Not much cranberry. Fairly thin, finish is fairly long and dry with malt taking over towards the end. Overall, I love good cranberry beers and I love good pumpkin beers, so this seemed like a slam dunk. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Not bad, but disappointing--although it did improve with warming.

Pours a very nice amber with thin, active head that fades quickly with decent lacing. Aroma is tart with cranberry, pumpkin, allspice, nutmeg. Taste is mildly tart with more pumpkin and cinnamon. This would be a nice fall beer on a cool night around a campfire. Overall pretty sweet, so I wouldnt have more than one.
