Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouvermcberko (18068) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 23, 2016
Cloudy golden color. Pumpkin pie aroma, dry-ish mouthfeel, mild cinnamon flavor, some apple touch.
At least it’s not heavy…
On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of nutmeg and cinnamon upfront, with maybe a little pumpkin purée. Flavour is uninspired, with a lot of nutmeg and cinnamon. Not much actual pumpkin. A spice bomb. Decent. Oakes (17831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 24, 2016
Hazy amber, thin head. Spicy, any pumpkin? This has a fair bit of sweetness, sugary, fairly spicy. Clean, basic pumpkin beer.

Bottle, 12oz. It’s a hazy, golden-orange beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white to light beige head leaving curtains. It’s slightly berry-sour on the nose, with a spiced touch and something citrusy. Some caramel maltyness too. It’s very soft on the palate, a bit too carbonated actually, and if it weren’t for the light tartness, it would’ve been way too much. It’s medium to thin bodied. Spices, some bitterness, a touch of caramel and citrus peel in the flavor, finishing lightly sourish and with a nice combo of caramel, spices and citrus. Quite interesting this one, adding the cranberry juice and using less spices than everyone else seems like a good idea to me. 130829 brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 5, 2013
On tap @ New Belgium. Orange pour with a white head. Spice aromas of clove, nutmeg, and all spice. Light cinnamon, sweet malt, and some light tartness. Flavor is sweet bread and toast. Pumpkin spice flavors, and a hint of lemon peel on the finish. Ferris (15901) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 23, 2016
Draft - Spiced pumpkin pie notes. Cloudy amber with a small beige head. Pumpkin and light spice. Not too sweet or spicy but not getting any of the cranberries or lemongrass. Not bad for a pumpkin beer. bhensonb (15345) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 20, 2013
Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent copper with a creamy beige head. Spice aroma. Med body, or nearly. Flavor is mostly pie spice with some apparent cranberry tartness. Not a lot tho. My tastebuds haven’t left the dock. Decent, at least average, spiced ale. Ratman197 (14964) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 7, 2013
