COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A burly and bitter Imperial IPA, Rampant pours a pure copper and carries the sheen of a rightly hopped beer. The Mosaic and Calypso hops bring stonefruit to the front seat, and the addition of Centennials nod towards citrus for a well-rounded aroma. The taste expands these hops with heavy peach tones and a profoundly bitter bite. There is some malt sweetness to stand this beer up, and Rampant’s finish is bone-dry.

Bottle. Pours a light copper color with a thin white head. The aromas are grass, citrus, some light floral. The mouthfeel is dry bitter and has a meady heavy body with good carbonation. The flavors were a little lacking on this one. It kinda fell flat for me. Cheers!

Bottle. Clear amber color with ivory head. Nice floral, grapefruit, pine hoppy aromas. Medium body with average co2. Grapefruit, floral, herbal, citrusy hop flavors with a mild pale malt sweetness___nicely drying finish___good.

Clear, copper colour with a nice white head. Nice fresh aroma, mostly hops with some pine notes and toffee. Nice mouthfeel, rich, a bit oily feel to it. Taste is soft, some bitterness but mostly it’s malts. It’s a very nice IIPA.

Man, this one was bitter. I don’t shy away from bitter, but it was like an overripe grapefruit rind. Tart and clingy on the tongue. It wasn’t horrible, but wouldn’t be my first choice for a DIPA.

Bottle as part of holiday pack. Wow. This beast was strong. Very piney aftertaste.

Not as impressed with this DIPA. Looks great and smells nice but just a little too unbalanced.

A lighter-than-usual double-IPA, though it has the sweetness factor working. Sweet with a pretty intense hop bitterness. Not a heavy malt sweetness, but more like very light syrupyness. A decent DIPA with a lighter, less sweet characteristic compared to others. Good, but not great.

Tap at The Bar in Rothschild. Pours amber with lasting off white head. Rich hops and IPA finish. Full bodied. Love it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. Clear amber with a frothy delicous creamy head. Nose has pine, passion fruit, fruitiness and sweet malt. Big sweet Mouthfeel. Taste is similar but with a table sugar like sweetness. Moderate dry citruslike bitterness.

There is a strong citrus smell with a grapefruit dominance and maybe a little bit of peach. It is definitely hoppy. It’s golden in color with a full bodied fluffy white head. A powerful citrus taste with grapefruit in the forefront. It is a lively flavor full of taste. It is bitter, but in an extremely pleasant way.
