Pours a clear copper color with white, soapy head and tons of lacing. Aromas of pine, grass, and citrus. Taste is light sweetness, some sourness and bitter on the back end. Medium bodied with a dry bitter finish as with most IPA’s. Overall, this is a nice session beer that is true to its style. But nothing that makes it stand out and say wow. haukur (1963) - Kópavogur, ICELAND - JUN 25, 2011
a blueprint of a session IPA! copper colour, huge hoppy arome with hints of oranges. Very balanced, cascade stand a bit out. This 6-pack went down fast! very nice Shag (3026) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - JUN 24, 2011
This poured a copper color with a white head. Aroma is pine, perfume, citrus, and a hint of caramel. The flavor is bitter but well balanced. Oranges and grapefruit stand out. A hint of sweetness as well. Overall a well done IPA. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - JUN 24, 2011
For a mainstream ipa this one is very charming, excellent hop flavors up front with a light bitterness allowing the malt bill to shine. Loving it. bjt512 (292) - Athens, Georgia, USA - JUN 23, 2011
Poured on draught into a shaker at Trappeze in Athens, GA. This poured pale straw-yellow and gently laced the glass. Aromas of grassy hops combine with sweet malty flavors to make this is good but not great American ipa. Tasty, and definitely something I would drink again, but not something I would seek out in preference to other interpretations of the style.

Citrus and pine in the nose and aftertaste. Nicely smooth in the mouth. Pleasant bitterness at 70 IBUs. Decent beer.
BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - JUN 21, 2011
Clear copper appearance, good head retention. Enticing piney citrus aroma. Dry citrussy grapefruit palate, some tropical pineapple and biscuity malt, but a little thin in body. Nice lingering citrus bitterness. Some good hoppy flavors but a little light in body. larsga (7567) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2011
Medium beige head. Amber body with light carbonation. Strawy mango and marzipan aroma with earthy notes. Dry-sweet mango and paper taste with resiny grape notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dry resiny grape aftertaste with earthy roasty papery notes. Nice, but a bit papery. (0.355l bottle, from some liquor store in San Francisco.) jmohno (1633) - Iowa, USA - JUN 14, 2011
Excellent beer all around.Easy to drink great aroma great flavor finishes perfectly hoppy like an ipa should.Ive grown to love this beer.It has not had any inconsistancies like many others for me yet.Fresh hoppy not stale or yeasty.Just a very impresive beer.Good lacing nice creamy foamy head layer that stays to the end.Citrusy sweet in smell as taste with a nice mellow lingering hoppiness to let you know what you just drank. I like the somewhat biscuity roasty toasty flavor in the middle from the grain. This beer could turn a non-ipa lover into an ipa lover, alot going on for this beer i would say its almost perfectly balanced. So far New Belgium and Avery win for my favorite Colorado beers.
If your taste buds had g-spots, it would hit alot of them.Great beer-it deserves whats coming to it. fata2683 (2176) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUN 13, 2011
Bottle pours light amber with a thin tan head. Aroma is pine and grassy hops. Flavor is toasted malts and assertive pine and city’s malts. Nice ipa.
