500ml bottle sample. Pours a beautiful golden colour with lovely white head and clumpy/ pillowy lace. Aroma was sweet, piney, crisp refreshing. Taste was so nice and bitter, sweet piney. Just delicious.

here is simcoe in this? Average pale ale, to call this an ipa would be false. Not hoppy enough.

Bottle. Light copper color, medium body with citrus and spruce aroma and average carbonation. Just the right amount of bitterness.

Bomber.Orange gold pour, frothy white head. Aromas of grain(light roasted corn, rye), grassy/earthy hops, a bit of resin and pine. Flavors bitter, herbal, malty, with a light sweetness. Medium bodied, malty(a tinge roasty even) throughout, bitter notes midway, with a long dry/malty/bitter finish. The drink by date was June 11, so I imagine this was fairly fresh, no notice of stale hops. Overall, pretty good well balanced bitter beer... the finishing notes seem to intensify with each sip which is pretty satisfying and refreshing. By no means is this a west coast style IPA or the greatest hop fixation ever, but to try a new IPA at the end of a long day out of town on work and have it taste good is sometimes all you really need.

Citrusy, resiny, kind of catty. Very clear, light copper, foam dissipates pretty quickly. Fairly thin bodied, not much depth. Not a great IPA.

Beautiful color and aroma. Easy to drink while retaining its high hop qualities. One of New Belgium’s better offerings. http://beerhatesme.blogspot.com/2011/02/new-belgiu

Aroma of big pine/citrus hops, sweet caramel, white sugar and a tough of tart apple. Appearance of tinted gold with beautiful foamy white head of about an inch. Flavor was a letdown- the caramel aroma did not translate into a malt backbone, and the hops were pretty much the whole show. The mouthfeel was thin and the palate was lightly bubbly. I expected a little more here, especially after the nice start.

Bottle. Bouquet of hop greatness off the nose. Lots of citrus and plenty of pine. Taste is bitter citrus and pine. Some nice lemon and a hint of spice in there too. Very good. I would by this all the time if I could.

Beautiful white head offset by it’s orange-golden hue. The medley of hops brings out a rich pine/citrus -like aroma while dancing merrily in your palate. Definitely my go to beer when it’s available in 12 ers. I’ve had it on draft &’in bottle. Draft, of course, cannot be equaled!

Bottle @ hotelroom, Denver. Pours golden with a nice fluffy head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, kiwi. Taste much like aroma, though abit sweeter, nice bitter finish tho. Medium body, soft carbonation. 180211
