Bottle. The hop quality to this beer is very herbal, earthy, and fresh. The bitterness is a bit strong for my liking these days-- very dry and resinous on the finish. Clear copper body with a nice white lasting head.

This is a very mild IPA. Citrus (grapefruit, some lemon zest) and grassy hops with a fair amount of sweetness as well.

Bottle. One of my favorite IPAs. I find it very smooth with a mild bitterness and citrus taste.

Draft. Pours clear golden with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is hops: grapefruit, pine, grass. Flavor adds a decent bready malt backbone. Crisp, refreshing, pretty drinkable.

12oz bottle; pours a clear golden yellow with a thin head and long lasting lacing; flavors of citrus, very hoppy; finish is a dry, bitter and long lasting. Not a favorite IPA for me.

12oz bottle. I would consider this a crossover IPA. This is the IPA that I would tell a friend to try who doesnt care for IPAs in an attempt to enlighten them to how great this style can be. Super smooth but with a nice little bite. Hop character is real nice, medium bitterness and a lingering aftertaste that I have no problem with. I could kill several of these easy. If youve never had an IPA before, or one that you liked, give this one a try. You might just have an epiphany....

Pours a clear yellow with relatively thin head. Some grassiness in the aroma and in the flavor, along with the usual citrus and pine flavors. Has a very dry finish that complements the whole package quite well. One of the better IPAs out there.

Pours a watered-down iced tea color. Very clear. Super pillowy, white head. Looks like marshmallow cream....and just as sticky. Aroma is slightly funky but for the most part it is very clean. Pine, grapefruit and herbs are prevalent in the nose. Grassy flavor, grapefruit pith and pine juice flavors are strong and fresh. Super hoppy. I would like to see more malt. Medium body with a lingering pine aftertaste. It is also a little dry. This is by far the best New Belgium Ive had. Superior quality vs. their grocery store line.

I like the few beers Ive tried from New Belgium, but this one is the best Ive had. The aroma is very clean with hints of grass in the hops. The flavor is nice and hoppy and the aftertaste is delightful as well.

Pours a crystal-clear gold with a half-finger head and great lacing. Aroma is grainy and floral, lightly bitter. Strong, slightly grassy pilsener malt taste, more floral and bitter hops - spicy, even. Nice warm bite to the finish. Creamy, thick body, crisp carbonation. Very nice!
