3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: APR 19, 2015 22 oz bottle poured into a Stone IPA specialty glass. The citrus and pine that?s advertised makes its presence known in the aroma immediately. The citrus part seems, to me, to be a combination of grapefruit and tangerine. There?s also some floral notes, spruce notes, and a light biscuit smell. The beer is a remarkably crystal clear (I could see my fingerprint smudges clearly through the liquid), sparkling, gold color (on the yellow side of gold) that has some effervescent bubbles ascending through the drink. This is topped by a huge, rocky yet creamy white head that takes it?s sweet time receding - even then leaving a rather large "floating island" of head - and coats the glass with a cloudy, puffy lacing. The taste is on the bitter side of balanced, but not by much. Medium - high bitter, but not punch you in the face bitter, accompanied by a medium sweetness. It?s an oily textured beer, that goes down smooth with the assistance of a bit above average carbonation level. The medium bodied beer starts with a dry, floral and grassy front, but blends into a sweet citrus by mid sip. The finish is a clean, refreshing, pine and orange citrus with a crisp quality to it as well. The aftertaste has some toasted grain and grass with a light orange flavor. It lingers, but it?s dry and mellow.
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2017 Pretty good. Piney floral nose, taste of pine resin and herbs, mildly sweet. Puffy lacey head. Crisp finish with some faint notes of tangerine. Coarse carbonation and overall light body. j.hi (29) - - SEP 13, 2017
Looking for everyday IPA. Still looking. Not bad. Pretty good front end hops. Mellowed in the middle but didn't leave me with overall satisfaction especially ending that I was looking for. It's ok.

Can at Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Pours clear orange with a medium head, leaving only lacings but no foam. Aroma is strong pine and some tropical citric fruit, resin, bark. Body is medium, strong resin, decent sweetness, with an oily texture dominating a lively carbonation in the background. Lasting sweet pine needle palate. Good. On can from Vinmonopolet in Norway, on order- had it a while in. The fridge. Hazy holden color, good foam. Medium aroma intensity; caramel at first, then hop domination, pine, some fruits and vanilla and more caramel in the finish. Medium body & complexity . High bitterness - ok balance. Enjoyable

Light and clear golden color with a fluffy head of white foam. Aromas and flavors of fresh herbals, light tangy citrus, pine trees, and grass. A very clean IPA.

Bottled 655ml (from Shell in Austin 2.99$). Clear golden color, good white head and lace. Piney, citrusy aroma. Medium-bodied. Lots of piney hops in the flavor. Pale malty sweetish backbone. Long lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice hop bomb.
