22oz. Consumed today. Best by 7/9/10. [A] Pungent piney, earthy, citrus notes over a sweet pale, biscuity and caramel malt aroma. Smells like a Fat Tire with some dank hops. Or something. [A] Clear golden pour, with a bubbly body and white head, kind of recedes into an island atop my brew. Fuzzy lacing. [F] Flavor follows smell pretty closely. Piney, earthy, zesty citrus hops. Bitter is actually quite nice. The malt is mild here under the hops, with a pale and slightly caramel taste. [P] Thin to mild bodied. Appropriate carbonation. The hop bitter is impressive enough to appreciate. And keep my interest through a 6-pack. Not my first choice for a session, but a bomber was enjoyable, and I probably could do more. [O] If this is as "micro" as your local 2AM liquor store goes, or the only bomber you can afford when you need a hop fix, by all means, grab THIS. It satisfies, but does not exceed. Im sure there are better things you could fit into $4-9. A solid offering either way @ 6.5 and 70 IBUs. Could stand to be a little maltier. Definitely a repeat at the right place & time. Ill give this one some props for $2.99+.

Bottle. Yellowy Gold in colour. Good off-white head. Fruity; tangy grapefruit citrus, lime. Hoppy; piney resinous hops; lovely piney fruity hop notes. Malty; sweet malts, caramel. Good fruit/hop/malt balance. Quite bitter citrus fruity and hoppy throughout. Very drinkable. Enjoyed this. Lovely IPA! (2014-09-28)

Pours an orange golden color. Very clear. About one finger white head. Pretty long lasting head. Okay retention, good lacing.

Aroma is sweet citrus, like orange. Maybe a little grapefruit, and pineapple. The aroma is sweet, but theres a hoppy undertone to it, it counters the sweet aroma. Theres also pine and pine resin.

Taste is full of piney bitter, and resin hops. It has sort of a late forming bitterness, but the bitterness that lingers. It does have some sweet malt floating around. Sip to sip it changes a little between sweet and bitter.

Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied. No alcohol taste. Crisp and dry and dry and dry. Its bitter, not as balanced as the label claims. But very nice.

Overall, this is delicious. A well made IPA, hoppy, bold and very nice. Cant believe I kept passing it up. Dont you do the same. I absolutely recommend this, and Ill be looking to pick this one up again.

BB 09Jul17. Poured a crystal clear orangey-amber colour with a two-finger off-white foamy head that retained very well but laced poorly. Carbonation high with medium sized bubbles. Aroma of moderately strong pine and grapefruit, neither of which is over-powering; moderate sweetness. Taste of grapefruit and pine; moderate flavour, not over-powering; moderate to strong bitterness. Light to medium body. Crisp with a soft mouthfeel and a lingering strong IPA bite on the finish.

12 oz bottle. You can sense a little banana and citrus. This has a rather nice kick. Well done.

Draft at the airport. Fairly clear gold to amber with a medium sized white head. Aroma is grapefruit and not much else. Taste is initially pithy and mostly bitterness. Hop flavor is more grapefruit with not much else. Seems rather one dimensional and just meh. Citradelic is way better.

Bottled. Pours clear amber with an average off-white head. Aroma of citrus, apricot, floral hops, caramel and pine. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry as bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice IPA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fruity aroma. Fruity and bitter taste. Good bitterness which fills the upper part of the mouth a weak moment. Good beer slightly sweet at the end. Follow me @ Kung av l @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
