Rolle Bolle is a wonderfully fun Belgian yard game and a delightfully easy summer ale. Brewed with monk fruit and soursop it stays true to the Belgian tradition of playing with beer and all that goes into it. Roll on.

Aromas of orange peel, perfume, flora, and fresh-cut grass. Clear pale gold with a lasting, white head. Dry, bitter, with round citrus fruit, and subtle dried apricot. Light, crisp, and with a quick, clean, citrusy finish.

10oz on tap. This must be a new offering. Looks like a light pilsener in the glass, medium bright white head, clear. Very light but hoppy taste. Very light body. Floral notes, delicate. Lingers well. Good new beer, different and memorable!

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of pale malt, light lemons, a hint of grassy hops and a very light and mild scent. Light to Medium-bodied; Good grassy hop flavour at first with some very pale malt/wheat flavours and a definite lemon and citrus flavour. Aftertaste shows more lemons and wheat than anything else, but a bit of herbal and grassy flavours show a hint of hops at the end. Overall, a nice and light summer beer that shows some good flavours, but nothing complex nor earth-shattering. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Arrowine in Arlington, Virginia and given to me by a hockey teammate on 17-April-2013.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville, Another foray into obscure fruits from these guys. Yet again. Pours a very pale amber color with a medium sized frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of syrupy, tropical fruits with some strawberry, melon and mild earth. The taste is earthy, herbal and peppery with lemon and pale malts. The taste does not match the aroma much at all. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness. Interesting.

Bottle: The aroma consist of moderate grass, floral notes, orange peel, and a touch of fruit. It pours a transparent yellow/gold with a two finger white head that settles to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. There is a good amount of sticky webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate fruit and light citrus/orange. The finish has light orange peel, floral notes, grass, and just a hint of lemon. It’s light bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, it’s refreshing and drinkable...a solid summer thirst quencher.

Bottle from 16 Tons. Pours a very light golden/yellow color. Fruit is big up front in the aroma, light body, very sweet, a great summer beer.

I don’t know what soursop is but this light and strangely fruitful beer is a nice change of pace and quite tasty on a hot day. It has a light Belgian tang to it as well

Monkfruit! Soursop! Those aren’t exactly adjectives that would draw most people to a beverage purchase. But this beer is definitely not as weird as its ingredients, it is a solid Belgian with a bit of yeasty funk and a nice citrusy smell to it. A little bit of sourness in the aftertaste. Probably won’t be a big enough hit to be offered repeatedly, but I’d drink it again.

Straw pour with white head. Slight fruit and earthy hop aroma. Slight wheat-like bite mixed with a bit of sourness and grassy hops on the taste. Medium/high carbonation with light body. Clean and crisp finish. A decent all-around beer but it didn’t quite click with me.

Aroma is fruity and malty with a hint of sourness. Pours light golden color with thin white head. Taste is very light and malty with some sweetness to start followed by a slightly sour, bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
