Bottle, thanks in-laws! Straw hazy lemon yellow, little white head. Pleasant lemony yeasty aroma. Taste is surprisngly quite hoppy up front, giving way to lemon and citrus note and a really zesty finish. Very enjoyable to drink with alcohol well hidden. So fruity/citrusy. Well done. 12 oz bottle- Pours hazy pale straw golden with a nice creamy white head. Aroma is bright and citrusy, getting some funk actually, barnyard, yeasty. The taste is yeast, wheat, grains, citrusy, mildly funk, dry bitterness in the finish, the aroma is slightly more enjoyable than the taste. Body is medium and carbonation is medium high. So much better than i was expecting, not sure why they discontinued it in the first place. poisoneddwarf (2690) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - DEC 8, 2014
12 oz bottle from the fall variety pack; this was a 2007 Revival beer. Pours hazy gold with a thick white fluffy head with excellent retention; laces nicely. Aroma is bready, clove, lemon--pretty much what I want in a saison. Taste is trademark NB earthy, sweet and spicy; a note of earthy hops in the finish. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body, just right carbonation. This is great. Why did they stop making this? jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - DEC 7, 2014
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy yellow with a half finger of white head. Aroma is hugely yeasty with some lemon citrus. Taste is light bitter, follows aroma. Medium bodied with a slightly creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Cool. Steve_0 (3818) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 4, 2014
Bottle at home. Pour is clear yellow with a big white head and sticky lacing. Big belgian yeasty, somewhat phenolic, waxy, lemony, somewhat floral, peppery, and doughy aroma. Taste is lemony, biscuity, pepper, floral, musty, and phenolic with a spicy finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Not bad, but a bit heavy on the heavy belgian yeast characteristics for my liking - solid.

From a bottle. Thanks Joe! Pours almost clear bright yellow gold with a bubbly white head and lots of lacing. Tastes like lemon, juniper, creamy, light herb. Medium body and low carbonation. Smells like creamy lemon, straw, musky and grassy. sonnycheeba (6561) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 27, 2014
Bottle. Pours clear golden yellow with creamy white head. Aroma is pislner malts, wheat, light toast, floral hops, citrus, and some grassy notes. Flavor is crisp malt base with good wheat and grassy character, light spice, and some tropical and citrus fruit esters; quite delicious. Light/medium body and medium carbonation. scoth (693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - NOV 23, 2014
Pours hazy golden with a medium white head, very good retention, very fine lacing. Aromas of biscuit, hay, banana, pepper. Light body, bright, smooth, and creamy. Mildly sweet, gentle citrus, lightly bitter, with a medium dry peppery finish. Enjoyable. TomTron (462) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 16, 2014
Picked this up in a New Belgium seasonal pack, so I guess "Tis the Saison!" Terrible puns out of the way, it pours a bright, hazy, yellow with a thin, white head. Lemon zest and yeast in the aroma. Crisp taste with some more of the yeastiness coming out. Light and refreshing offering with a higher abv than expected. Not bad. benfergy (248) - Valley City, North Dakota, USA - NOV 5, 2014
The appearance of the Harvest Ale is light golden with little head. The aroma has some grassy hops, yeast, and cereal malt. The taste is lightly sweet, with a minor sour note. Feels very invigorating sipping this. Pretty good.
