3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a beautiful light gold with a pure white head mostly dissipating. Nose is hops with some spices and yeast. Fairly full bodied and creamy, the taste is crisp, light and hoppy- like a Pilsner with an extra dose of hops. Pairs well with smoked turkey and avocados on rye.
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouverganache (5905) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 31, 2016
Dark blond color. Quite nice malt character, the hops are a bit grassy. Robust body for the style. Not bad.
Can. Nose somewhat faint and fruity (more rind/pith than anything, doesn’t explode), pour clear burnished orange into copper with a very rocky bright white head. Taste light-medium sweet with light-medium malt and light breadiness, very pleasant fruity top notes, citrus with hints of wood, chewier crystal/amber type malt for complexity with little hints here and there of earth and biscuit, but not really bitter at all, save for a dash of Sam Adams bottom rounding. Touch of wildly unexpected fumy alcohol, something like corn, and very much in line with a NB recipe / house flavor. Extremely mildly hopped, no matter the varieties they list. Great medium body with juuust enough interest in the feel department. Still, fresh, clean, quenching, easy to down by the six pack, I’m sure I’ll have it again. Bright bronze. Thin head. Light pale malt aroma. Has a mellow pale malt character. Quite well-balanced. Actually quite good. mcberko (17847) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 23, 2016
On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp grassiness and biscuity malt. Decent hop content for a pale lager. Solid for what it is. reebtogi (6277) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 8, 2016
Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton (New Belgium Tap Takeover) pours a clear golden color with a small white head leaving spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy and grainy. Taste is a grassy hop bitterness with a light malty sweetness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. A respectable lager that is worth checking out on a warm summer’s eve.

Pours clear gold, big fluffy white. Aroma is blend of flowery, peppery hops with hints of malt. Flavor is more bready malt with hop bitterness, but without the flavor notes from the aroma. Mouthfeel is light and carbonated. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 4, 2016
Sampled on draft at Hough’s this beer poured a dark golden color with a large creamy off white head that left incredible lacing. The aroma was tart, citric and chalky. The flavor was tart, chalky and very perfumey. Long finish. Medium body. Pretty bad. Niko100 (2913) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 24, 2016

Best summer canned beer! Very crisp with a clean aftertaste. Light body and lightly hopped. This beer runs circles around the rest to me after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUN 16, 2016
Draft at SB. Lots of people say nice things about this one as a lawnmower beer, and I couldn’t be any more eager than I am to find great session beers. Was this an old keg? The rep was in the room for this one last night and I didn’t have the heart to ask her. Pours a very slightly hazy medium amber with a loose white head that sticks around. Cardboardy, stale nose, with some old corn nuts showing. Creamy medium body with moderate carb. Cardboard, corn nuts, and corn husk on the mid palate. Mild, cardboardy finish.
