Bottle. Pours golden with a thin head. Good lacing. Aromas of lemon, cut grass and biscuit. Flavors are lemon, cut grass, bready tones. Bit of black pepper and slight herbal hops. Nice. markducommun (1116) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 14, 2015
Clear golden, light white head. Light pine, citrus. Light bitterness, decent malt backbone. Lighter body, fairly effervescent. Quick finish. Fine. chinchill (4993) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 8, 2015
12 oz bottle, dated "best before" 4 Sept. 2011, served in a pint glass. (from notes)
Pours golden/light amber with an ample white head. Appears to have light, fine carbonation.
Aroma: some nice fruitiness, with a clear note of apricot, over a bed of light toasted grains, Centennial hops and baked bread.
Apricot is in the flavor as well, but the beer is not sweet. Instead, NB has achieved an excellent balance of sweet, tart and bitter. Other flavor components include some pepperiness (white), ginger, hops and lemon. These too are excellently balanced in this easy drinking but moderately complex and certainly interesting brew.
M - mildly crisp with a semi-dry and moderately tart finish. Excellent carbonation. Medium-light body.
O - a pleasant surprise. Although Somersault has a different flavor profile, there’s enough similarity for me to highly recommend this to fans of Magic Hat #9. This one is probably best-of-style for me so far and one I anticipate seeking out in the future. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 20, 2015
Bright, hoppy APA aroma with honeyish tones. Good bottle, interesting label, clear pale gold brew. Tangy, lemony tea is my first impression. And my second. Medium body. Meh. ABC Liquors, Bull Run. Bacchus66 (346) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 20, 2015
Well suited for what appears to be its intended purpose - a light, refreshing summer ale. The low alcohol means you can have a few extra to keep cool. Pours clear orange-yellow with a thin white head. Citrus, grass, hints of yeast, flavors are the same. Crisp light body, enjoyable.

12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a transparent yellow with slight orange tint, one finger head formed and did stay around for awhile while I had a smoke, very light lacing upon the vessel. Aroma of hops ( I smell saaz, not centennial). Hits the mouth with a light-medium body, malt tastes like it was bathed in sunshine before the hot water hit it- which works in this case, middle has orange, apricot, and lemons in it, finish is slightly dry with a small ginger crunch to it. Nice. Drake (13726) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 18, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Clear copper, large foamy white head, decent retention. Aroma of tropical, citrus hops, pale malt, hay. The taste is doughy malt, juicy fruits, spicy, citrus, floral hops. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness, high carbonation. Dogbrick (13010) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 17, 2015
Sample at the tap room. Pours a clear orange-straw color with a medium white head that burns away steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet citrus, herbal hops and toasty malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a hops and slight ginger aftertaste. Decent overall. ckilly (39) - Texas, USA - JUN 14, 2015
A fresh, light per for summer brew. The fruity palate is not on a hot summer evening.

I did not care for this at all. It tasted like it had too much lemon hints in it. Not a bad thing, but it really washes out the rest of the beer.
