3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It’s Sep 3rd, approaching the eventual melding away and off of this year’s summer but quite not yet so the ale’s premise is still in effect. Turn upside down the label and it’s a pretty damn steep hill to roll down on. There is, however, a nice place to relax the tastes at when there and when finished.
(I’d heard there ain’t gonna be no more 2 Below come this winter, be it so?)
Bottle from notes. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, bread, orange peel, some citrus notes, grass, just a hint of stone fruit in the flavor, mild ginger, very average. JPDIPSO (6262) - Wauwatosa, USA - JUN 24, 2016
Clear light golden liquid with a taller off-white head. Pale malt and wheat aromas with a light floral backdrop. Pale malts abound in the flavor with just a hint of light candi. Some light cookie and dough parts. Certainly nothing complex. Simple golden ale. 6/11
