This is a well made summer beer with just the right sweet and sour taste with strong citrus notes and flavor.
I could drink this beer year round.

Poured into a 12oz shaker. Colour is amber, on the darker side of blonde style. Small head with good lacing. Aroma is very pleasant for the style with lots of hop aroma. Flavour is pm on the bitter side for a blonde, but for me that is what makes it good. Mouth feel is watery, with a slightly dry finish. Overall a great beer for summer, very light and refreshing with lots of flavour. superspak (5587) - Michigan, USA - NOV 16, 2011
12 ounce bottle, best by 08/28/2011. I think this will be my first blonde ale. Pours hazy golden straw color with a nice 2-3 fingers of fairly dense white head with fantastic retention that reduces to a decent sized lacing cap that lasts. A nice amount of lacing clings around the glass as well. Aromas of big lemon, pepper, biscuit, grass, spiciness, and other light fruitiness. Some very nice aromas here with good strength as well. Taste of lemon, pepper, spices, bread, citrus, grass, and a bit of tart graininess. Fair amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, bread, and spices that last for a bit on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moutfeel that is a bit on the watery side, but not in a bad way. Drinks really easily as I would have expected for a beer brewed for the summer months. No alcohol presence at all as expected. Overall, some seriously great stuff here. Nice amount of well balanced flavors and super smooth drinking. krisolson (57) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - AUG 6, 2012

a lovely light aroma with hints of citrus and a nice hint of bread. a lovely light body with more fruit flavors in the taste as well as a hint of hops. a great finish with a light floral, hop and citrus that lingers but not too long. a Great summer.

Appearance: deep gold, with a hint of grapefruit-colored highlights, a thick and foamy two fingers of bright white head, slowly shrinking and leaving cotton candy lace everywhere. Aroma: big waves of fresh orange and grapefruit, with notes of coriander, candied ginger, lemon zest, and apricots. Taste: slightly bitter, with hoppy, juicy citrus racing around the mouth, with a decent note of spices, all over a deceptively strong malty background. Finish: gently dry and slightly bitter, with the bittersweet citrus lingering the longest. Notes: Wow, way better than expected. A summer beer that actually gives a crap. Me likey lots.

Bottle from sampler. Crisp clean nose, light mouthfeel with medium body, citrus sweetness and full oat undertones. Crisp aftertaste with just a bit of hop bite. Great summer beer.

Very interesting beer! I’ve had it from the bottle and on tap. Pours a golden color, edging towards amber with 1 finger of pearly head with abundant lacing. The smell is distinctly hemp to me, very grassy and resiny. The flavor is full of grassy and flowery hops with an almost honey flavor. Very complex and almost seems to change from sip to sip. Palate is almost syrupy from the flavors. Overall a tasty little beer. Strilo (63) - Oregon, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Refreshing citrus notes and a lighter crisp flavor make this a great easy drinking summer beer.

Bottle. Pours like you’d expect an inspecific "summer seasonal" to pour ... Hazy and golden like a hot summer day, with a little buzz like insects, and a poofy white cloud on top. The aroma is sweet and fruity. The beer drinks with a nice, light character, tart with lemon and peach, finishing with just a tease of spice. Nicely done! (#4736, 8/17/2012)
