On tap at Stone Sour Fest 09. Pours a cloudy dark brown with a thin tan film. Amazing spicy and roasty aroma with some chocolate and cinnamon. Flavor is fruity and sour up front and is supported by some cinnamon spiciness and just the right amount of tart and funk. Tap at Stone Sour Fest 2009. Pours a very dark brown, almost black. Wonderful aroma of spices -- mainly cardamom and cinnamon -- as well as some roasted notes. Flavor is only slightly tart and leans toward malty goodness. Tastes strongly of spices, again cardamom and cinnamon. Has a nice tangy finish. Probably the best of the ten beers that I tried at the festival. Poured a foggy red brown.
Nose was of oak, pumpkin pie spices, and a hint of red wine.
Taste was very spicy, sweet with candi sugar, fall spices with a hint of heat, a tad of sourness. A very unique and quality offering.

Stone sour ale fest 09. Dark brown pour. this was a really interesting beer. I liked the aroma. Chocolate, cinnamin, nutmeg, sweet malts, and fruit. Tap @ Sour Fest 3 today at stone. Poured cloudy brown with a tan ring. Nose is spicey and smokey and big. Taste is tart, burnt, and strange a weird one off.
