Does it get any sunnier than two people in love? Sunshine Wheat came into the world as Wedding Wheat, a beer Jeff brewed in celebration of his wedding to Kim. A filtered wheat beer, Sunshine Wheat swirls in the mouth with ripples of coriander and orange peel tartness, settling into a sea of honey and apple tones.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours yellow with a white head. Taste wheat, citrus. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours yellow with white head. Aroma is lemony, wheat, lots of citrus. Taste is crisp, smooth, very citrusy and floral. Okay.

AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 15, 2014
Bottle. Clear yellow piss color with white head. Peppery, citrusy tart wheat, bready aromas. Medium bodied with average co2. Bready pale wheat flavors with some dry spices, peppercorn___drying finish---decent.

Bottle in Sedona. Neutral aroma, hint of citrus. Light bodied. Coriander, grassy, vegetal, and lightly hopped. Touch of sweet honey on the finish. Meh.

Not the best offering. Really weak aroma and a pretty neutral taste. Drinkable but not preferred.

Tide (3887) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 28, 2014
Draught at bar. Orange color, white head. Bittersweet taste with orange peel, citrus, wheat, coriander and a bit of hops. Bittersweet finish with citrus, orange peel and wheat. Very nice wheat.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Cereal grains and bit of spice and light fruit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a sweet note.

Thin head with hazy golden color. A little skunky but nothing terrible. The problem is, the skunkiness over powers because there is so little flavor.

Bought this one for my wife; thought I should give it a try. Aroma is not great - some surprising skunkiness and floor cleaner type aroma. There is some orange peel and wheat, but that is after the unpleasant smells. Looks very light, watery, nearly clear with a good amount of white foam that leaves some lacing. Taste is weak, almost medicine-like with hardly any trace of wheat, just watered down orange peel. Palate is ok, better than I thought it would be. I thought it would be an upgraded version of Blue Moon, which my wife also likes. If you want to re-create this beer, take some Bud Select 55 and throw an orange rind in it. I was not expecting to like this beer, but I thought it would be at least drinkable - I’m not a total beer snob. Don’t buy this.

Reviewed from notes. This beer was poured into pint glasses most of the time I’ve had it, but once I had it in a weizen glass and the head was exceptionally larger by a good whopping 2 fingers. The appearance was a hazy golden orange color with some light yellow tinges around the edges. The head was about a finger’s worth of white foaminess that quickly died and left some light lacing. The smell had some light coriander and orange peel combining into an earthy and somewhat floral sort of way. The taste was a sweet citrus of sorts with a filling wheatiness rounding it out. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium with a decent sessionable quality surrounding it. Overall, this was a decent American Pale Wheat Ale, nothing to go bonkers about, but I’ve had this several times with cheese burgers and pulled pork sandwiches and it went pretty good.
