A very friendly soft beer with light fruit. The spice provides a bit of depth, but be assured it doesn't get too deep. A chugger that I liked quite a bit. Strykzone (7357) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - OCT 19, 2003
A great beer! Had it at Blueberry Hill in St. Louis and thouroughly enjoyed it. Tastes of several fruits were evident, even exploding. Can hardly wait to try another. PrinceofNessus (236) - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 29, 2003
orangeish and sweet smelling, a hint of corriander. The taste is sweet, with orange and corriander. The palate was slightly thin lemonlovr (190) - Orland Park, Illinois, USA - SEP 29, 2003
Aroma is characterized by coriander with a slight citrus zestiness. Appearance is smilar to most other filtered wheats. Flavor is good wehatery flavor with hints of coriander and citrus punch. Mouthfeel is ok. bjbrown24 (61) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 23, 2003
My favorite beer. I have to go out of state to find it but it is just wonderful. Great wheat taste and it is very smooth.

Not the best looking beer from NB the appearance is clear golden. The beer pours a pretty big white head that almost completely dissipates and there is very light lacing. Aroma is light and spicy. Flavor is crisp with light hop bitterness and a little orange and spice. Easy to drink and refreshing. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - AUG 26, 2003
I sampled this on draught at New Belgium's brewery in Fort Collins, CO.
Appearance: This brew has a pale straw color and is relatively clear. The other Wit's I've had are cloudy
Aroma: The nose has citrus and yeasty notes in it.
Flavor: this is a slightly crisp, hot weather beer. Definitely something you'd have after mowing the lawn leitrim65 (402) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 17, 2003
This is a great beer on a hot summer's day. Pale straw color with cloud like head. Lemon, citrus, and yeast aromas. I thought there was a lemon in the beer. Citrus flavors with hint of honey. Light bodied. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - AUG 6, 2003
On tap: Clear straw hue with a small head and some lacing. Spices, lemon, fresh hops, and light yeast aroma. Taste started with a tart fruit and wheaty tone then developed a light hop presence midway. Crisp and clean finish. Thin-bodied, dry and fizzy mouthfeel. A very refreshing summer witbeer, darn good for a filtered wheat.
