On tap this pours soft gold, great clarity with a thin white head. Nose is strong on the citrus hops, very floral pairing off the estery notes. The flavor was a bit to bitter, I was hopping for more of a tripel with american hops, but this used an IPA hop billing leading to a ton of bitterness.
On draught at Baileys on the Beach - Albuquerque. Aromati. Hpps and mellow Belgian yeast notes. Pours a bright deep gold color with lasting foamy whige head. Big body matched with creamy mouthfeel. Somewhat carbonated. Hoppy flavor balance tempered with mellow maltiness and slight bubblegum hint. Bitterness on equal footing as maltiness. Hops linger into finish. Complex for an IPA but it works for me.

Draught @ Brouwers’s Café:   Orangish amber, rather cloudy, large white head, nice lacing, lively carbonation.   Peppery/spicy farmhouse infused hop goodness.   Good mix of hop and belgian farmhouse aspects.   Well balanced, not overly hoppy nor too spicy.   Does have a bit of a strong hoppy finish, but the malty breadiness balances it out.   Up front is the IPA, but the Triple aspect soon follows.   Lingering mealiness after the finish.   Body and mouthfeel are full to moderate.   I enjoyed this one more than I expected.   Good balance it has. Tap at Naked City. Fairly big glass if you ask me. Nice haze orange color. Nice thin head on top. Very good looking beer! Very fruity aroma, with a nice pungent yeast aspect as well. Not much on the hops in terms of aroma. Hops slightly show up as the beer warms, but never to the point of the yeast/fruit aroma. The hops come out more in the flavor as the beer warms, but again the yeast/sugar/fruit flavors dominate. Fairly smooth beer. Glad to have tried this, but I wouldn’t say it is an IPA because the hop profile just doesn’t come out as much as it should, but still a rather delicious beer. snakeoilpete (324) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2009
On tap at Naked City. Pours cloudy orange with a decent off-white head. Aroma is mostly nutty, dusty funk with some banana/clove buried in there. Citrus and grassy hops show up a little bit in the taste, orangey turning to bitter grapefruit in the finish. Still mostly the yeasty Belgian thing than an IPA.

Tap @ PIB... Poured cloudy orange with a thick, off-white head. Piney, citrus hop aroma. I thought this one was way better than #2. Very thirst quenching for the hot day at the fest. On tap at Taphouse Grill Seattle Pours out a cloudy gold topped with a white head. Aroma was of floral hop incombo with some pine. Tast was more of the hop but some belg yeast and spice. a little odd.

Draught. Poured murky orange with a white head. Aroma of cloves and citrus. Citrusy flavour with lots of spice and that funky Belgianness one finds in many Belgian beers. Lasting hop finish.
