On tap at Rogue Issaquah Brewhouse, pours dark amber / maroon. Fairly bland aroma and flavour of muted sour fruits, with a dry finish. Nothing too interesting here.

Hazed dark brown red pour, pink tinged off-white head. Smells of chocolate, light spice, slightly sour cherry fruitiness. This has a big chocolate/cherry cordial flavor with a hit of tartness, caramelly hints, but not overly sweet tasting. This is a pretty decent summer beer. Moderate carbonation and mouthfeel.

tap at concordia alehouse. pours a muddy brown blood, ruby red period color with a tiny white head. aroma of doughy chocolate and cherries. berries. fruity dessert beer. not bad.

On tap at Fredfest. Pours dark brown with a decent beige head and a funky aroma. It tastes like a sour brown ale with cherries , chocolate and vanilla. But it just doesn’t come together very well.

Tap @ Fredfest... not big on this one. The cherry and cocoa just did not meld right for me here. Leaving a dank, unbalanced mess. Maybe a high bacteria yeast would really make this shine.

Interesting cherry aroma and flavor. This was a thick fruit beer. There was so much fruit flavor this kicked the malt and hops right out. Not sure what this was going for and I was not really liking this brew.

Off-white head with and opaque cherry-oak color. Aroma of sweet cherries gives way to earthen, sour, yeasty notes. Flavor is sharp, astringent, hints of biscuits and cherries, finishes with warming alcohol and a tart aftertaste. This is a funky, tasty ale.

Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - APR 26, 2010
Hazy ruby amber with a thick frothy light pink head. Aroma of mildly sweet toasted malts. Taste is more fruity sweet with some slight cherry notes and caramel. Juicy body with a dry finish, medium texture and carbonation.

Dark vibrant ruby, dark cocoa aroma kissed with thick cherry juice. more dusty cocoa, and very jammy sweet midpalate into the finish. almost approaches grenadine. too sweet for my liking.

Draft at Naked City. Pours dark pink, hints of brown, frothy head and great lacing. Aroma of peach, cherry, honey and vanilla. Flavor follows similarly with a huge sweet caramel background, with almost tea-like floral and fruit flavors. Very drinkable and good carb. Another great experimental brew.
